Comprehensive ABA therapy services tailored to your needs
Dr. Moss and her team are truly amazing! Caring, knowledgeable, and deeply committed. She worked with my son for many years, and he grew in ways I’ll always be grateful for. Her support made a real difference in his life and changed the way I once felt about ABA. If you are considering ABA, New Perspectives ABA is the best.
There are no words that can adequately express what Dr. Patricia Moss means to our family’s well-being. Her expertise, compassion, and ability to manage the sometimes unmanageable is most certainly a gift we have come to depend on. At the tender age of 5, through observations, discreet trials, and data collection, Dr. Moss began the one-on-one ABA therapies that gave our 5-year-old autistic daughter, Kelly Ann, the voice she didn’t have and, as time progressed, the behaviors began to decrease. Now, it was our turn to listen and learn. We looked towards Dr. Moss’ knowledge and strength to push us forward and began implementing the strategies that would ultimately help our daughter learn how to face the challenges of daily life. Simple routines such as learning to tie her shoes, comb her hair, and taking turns in everything from play to conversation replaced the tantrums, sleepless nights, and horrendous feeding issues. Dr. Moss brought hope back into our lives and, through her guidance and strength, we have continued to help our daughter, Kelly Ann, lead as normal a life as possible. As with everything in life, we came to settle into a certain comfort…a certain idea of what life may be like down this new road, and just when we became used to that-we were walloped with another intruder-Tourette syndrome. A disability that would take us back to that very dark and hopeless place. Kelly Ann, then 11 years old, fought through violent tics and a primal scream that lasted close to 20 hours a day leaving her weak and exhausted. However, after being hospitalized for a week and trying various medications to no avail, the neurologist and psychiatrists gave us very little hope. They claimed they had never seen a case like this. We left the hospital with less answers than we walked in with and with a child who desperately needed help. It was at that point that we knew we needed to turn to Dr. Moss and, thankfully, she expressed confidence in her ability to attack Kelly’s specific presentation of Tourette syndrome behaviorally. It was not easy and the struggles were great but once again, through her expertise in ABA, Kelly Ann’s Tourette syndrome had calmed itself just enough to take its place alongside the Autism as just another daily presence in our lives. Our daughter was back. Kelly Ann is now 31 years old and it has been a long road and will continue to be a long road. But, as long as we have Dr. Moss on our side, we know that anything is possible.
