Next Adventure-Pediatric Occupational and Speech Therapy

Absolutely loved this route of counseling for my 9 year old son! Next Adventure was very quick to reach out after initial inquiries and found a spot for us just as fast. Alyssa was amazing to work with, she was very empathetic and made sure to reach out to me outside of appointments. She was very personable and supportive of whichever direction I felt needed more focus. Alyssa also invited my other son into sessions to gain perspective as to the sibling dynamic that played between the two boys. I highly recommend the staff at Next Adventure for anyone trying this direction in therapy.

We brought my 5 year old in to work on sensory concerns, confidence, coordination and social skills. I am beyond happy that we were able to find Alyssa to work with her. My daughter stayed for a year and the improvement we saw was wonderful. Alyssa is so creative in coming up with solutions to help little ones in areas they are struggling with. My daughter LOVED going to OT or the "play doctor" each week cause to her it felt like time to just play but she got so much out of it. I would recommend Alyssa to anyone! My daughter lovingly called her the "play doctor" and eagerly looked forward to her weekly sessions, not realizing she was actually working on important developmental skills. To her, it was simply playtime, but the progress she made was significant. I wholeheartedly recommend Alyssa to any parent looking for an occupational therapist. Her ability to connect with children while delivering effective therapy makes her exceptional at what she does.

Our 3 year old daughter worked with Alyssa on major social anxiety, coordination trouble, and bathroom accidents. She helped us SO much- it’s hard to put into words! Our daughter is a lot more confident since working with her. Alyssa has also given us (and her teachers) tools to help our daughter succeed at home and at school. Alyssa is excellent at communicating, working with kids at their own pace and comfort level, and she put so much attention and care into each meeting with our daughter. We are so thankful for how much she helped our family, we 100% recommend Next Adventure!

Miss Alyssa is amazing!! As an OT myself, there is no one I would trust more with the treatment of my own daughter. She’s brilliant, caring, takes time to plan her sessions, and follows Nora’s lead for what she needs during a session. She’s very thorough with her communication with me and looks at the whole picture in regards to treatment. Snag a spot in her beautiful clinic!!

Alyssa is one of the most talented OT's I have had the pleasure of working with. Her creativity, knowledge, adaptability, and loving/warm energy creates a safe and welcoming place for every kiddo. She does an amazing job tailoring specifically to the needs of each child. Her space is AMAZING and 10/10 would recommend.

Alyssa is an incredible person and therapist! She truly takes the time to get to know each child, create therapeutic tasks that are not only unique and meaningful but also designed specifically for that child. She is kind, thoughtful, engaging, approachable, and creative. Her therapy space is inviting and designed to engage children fully.
