NMMC Behavioral Health Center

Worked with me so that I could reach my goals. I knew I had some behavioral issues and they diagnosed me, found the right meds that work for me, and offered full cognitive behavioral therapy. They listen. You just have to reach out and speak.

I’ve been attending the Behavioral Health Center for a month now, and I can genuinely say the outpatient services have been life-changing. Clark and Pippa are incredible—compassionate, attentive, and truly dedicated to their work. Nurse Practitioner Green is also fantastic—professional, supportive, and easy to talk to. Thanks to their care, I’m finally getting my life back on track. The level of support and understanding they provide has made all the difference in my journey. I’ve seen some negative reviews, and I honestly don’t understand them. From my experience, the staff here genuinely care and go above and beyond if you’re open to receiving help. I’ll absolutely continue coming here and highly recommend them to anyone looking for real support and care.

The nurse that I talked to was very understanding and talk to me as if I was going to be able to receive some help! Seem very caring and very understanding! But Dr Hathaway the psychiatrist is the worst person to try to get advice for your mental health! When I went there I thought I was gonna be able to receive help because no one's listening to me just to find out when I talked to the psychiatrist He doesn't listen either! I felt like I was judged when I done my Telehealth visit and I've never felt so much betrayal of my faith!! I would not suggest him to no one if you're having any kind of problems with anxiety or any kind of mental problems!! By far the worst experience I've ever had with a psychiatrist!!

The downstairs is great. Beware of outpatient services. They will lead you into a rabbit hole and that is where you will stay until you get real medical help from seasoned doctors!!!!’

I think it's a wonderful place if you are really looking for help. The staff is top-notch and so are the amenities

Positives and negatives. The nursing staff was great with the exception of Ms Donna. She scores a zero and the rest of the staff to include nurses, housekeeping, kitchen staff, etc., score a 5. Nurse Donna I suspect is ready for retirement. She screamed unprevoked at the patients and talked down to them until they were in tears and then yelled at them to dry it up and quit being a cry baby. Very demeaning person. She threatened one patient that was upset after Donna had screamed at her, that she was going to put her in a straight jacket. The nurses didn't know what the right and left hand was doing. One nurse would approve something as simple as taking a blanket to their room and another nurse would say absolutely not. The staff wanted respect from the patients yet showed the patients no respect. This is not slander, it is 100% true. NMMC is a well respected facility, but the behavorial health section needs a major overhaul. I would not recommend this facility to anyone.

The experience for me was great. The nurses are nice and will do everything possible to help you and your situation get better. You get to speak to the doctor everyday. There group therapy sessions are very helpful and will help you figure out what changes you have to make for yourself. I would recommend this place to any and everyone who is going through something no matter what it may be.💖
