I'm highly upset because these people send my son home over his knee that he's been having problems with for over a month and they knew this. It's part of his syndrome (aside from the autism). He literally has arthritis. He has a state issued stroller just due to his syndrome, and they would rather have a doctors note to be able to send him back to therapy even though he is in full time. Therapy and/or school is required BY THE STATE and is mandatory. He doesn't go to school. So now instead of having my day off to do what I need, I have to keep my child home because they want some kind of doctors note on his "restrictions" even though I'M HIS MOTHER and I know what he can and can't do. They sit him in front of the TV watching cocomelon and he's in that exact spot every time I come to pick him up, even if I pick him up early, which they made me do yesterday even though they know I have to work and I'm a nurse and have to take care of my patients too. I'm not sure why they take on special needs kids if they can't handle them. 🤔🤔 They have other kids in wheelchairs so I'm not sure what the problem is. I also really wish they would get him up and walk him around. I told them he needs to walk off his knee, because sitting longer periods makes it worse. So what do they do? Sit him in front of the TV all day. He's not really working on his skills from what I see.
