North Shore Pediatric Therapy - ABA Therapy for Autism Deerfield

This place is wonderful! We have been working with them for a short time and my son has flourished. I highly recommend.

We are unfortunately leaving this practice. Enough is enough. Very high turnover rate. Management is completely chaos. Our favorite ST that’s been working with my daughter is leaving the practice. They have also updated the cancellation policy that charges you $75 per cancellation if you call sick without a doctor’s notice less than 7 days in advance more than twice a year. which makes zero sense. As parents we all know that we can’t predict when kids get sick and immediately take them to the doctors and get a letter just for their practice so they don’t lose money. This is more strict than daycare. If you couldn’t generate enough revenue and have such a high turnover rate you might want to consider investing in a better leadership team and more therapists.

Only provide ABA services at minimum 15 hrs/wk scheduled M-F 3:30-6:30. RBTs are amazing but you will not meet the ABA therapist. Minimal staff and high turn over. They do not provide any referrals.

My child has been a client at this location for several years. There has always been high turnover here but in the few months this location has descended into complete chaos. My child is on at least their 5th BCBA (whom I’ve never met) and there have been too many BTs to count! Therapists are presently resigning at a rapid pace and leadership is absent. Communication is fragmented. This is obviously harmful to a population that needs stability and supporting. Avoid!!!

I've been looking for a place for my son. I've been told by this office that my son can start therapy by next week. Then they started to postphone it... After 2 months - they realized that they don't work with the insurance - it took them 2 months to get that!!!!. they just waisted 2 months of my time and my son time. so annoying and not professional.

We started OT for our oldest with Dana in late November and we have seen such a large improvement in the 6 plus months he has been working with her. She is an amazing therapist and everyone is super nice and easy work with. They have really taken an interest in our son and really care about his continued progress. I would definitely recommend North Shore to anyone looking for pediatric therapy services.

We owe my son’s awesome progress to the wonderful staff of NSPT Lincolnwood and Deerfield most specially to Catherine Hinckley and her team of Therapists who has been helping my son for more than 2 yrs. Elsa and Jessica are also very helpful with accommodating schedule according to our family’s needs. ABA and OT with Dana helped my son’s transition to preschool go very smoothly. They are the best!
