Northwest Autism Clinic

My son has been seeing Dr. MacNeal for the past 3 years and she has done amazing work with him. He started seeing her when we has 5, and at that time, his language skills were quite limited. Over the past 3 years, she has helped to improve his language to a point where he is on par with his peers and has helped him to learn manageable coping skills. We drive over an hour for our therapy sessions every week and it is well worth the drive. She is absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend her to anyone.

The doctors husband is the receptionist and they were very unprofessional. They went on and on and on about how terrible our insurance is and how terribly the insurance companies treat them. Even after we agreed to switch our insurance he spent 2 full sessions (1 hour long each) going on and on about how terrible the insurance companies are and how they are expected to work with our children for almost nothing. Then they had to reschedule because they had to move buildings which was fine. But then a couple of weeks later I had to cancel a session because something came up at work and it was a huge deal. They went on and on about how inconvenient it was to work with my child to begin with I had the leave after just a few sessions I will find someone who actually cares about the kids

Our son saw Dr. Melissa for almost five years. He gained so much from the experience, and Dr. Melissa was so good with him. They worked with us as a whole family and made sure as a mother of a child with autism I could have as many questions answered and tools in my book as I could. She also helped me set up my son’s IEP with the school district in the very beginning of his school career. I couldn’t have asked for a better professional to teach me about my son and his autism journey.

I was referred by my son's doctor to this clinic if they can accept another patient but according to the person I spoke to, they have a year wait list. And he sounded MORE about MONEY issue-"It's all about money thing".
