This is the worst place ever to get your treatment, If you're thinking of coming here Don't!!!, Rey is super unprofessional and selfish, most of the time he doesn't even talk about treatment, he talks about football and stuff that isn't even related to treatment, 100% do not come here save your time and just look for a different place to find treatment.
So far the class is very enjoyable. Every week has been jam packed with important useful information. example, The number one thing that affects your behavior is your environment. It’s so obvious, but we need to be told these things and we need to think about these things and I’m just really looking forward to this class. 🙏
I went here for a few months to do court mandated treatment. On my first day, it was very clear to me that the counselor, Ray is a misogynist. He treated us women very weirdly and poorly. The group was always centered around himself preaching to the class instead of it being an interactive experience with feedback. Borrrriiiing! The only good part was the fact that sometimes he would let us go early. Sometimes he would take the day off and that was super inconvenient to those of us who want or have to get the classes done within a certain time frame, because he wouldn't count those days. I quit going for a while and needed to reinstate myself there. They told me they would, and when I came the next day for group treatment, I would be charged 275 for reinstatement. I found somewhere else that charged 25 DOLLARS a class instead of the 75 dollar pocket run Ray was scamming, so I didn't show up. I finished my treatment with the other place (which was absolutely wonderful and it was a very tight close knit group, where we actually talked and processed things about our lives currently), and I got a bill in the mail from NWBH for 275!! I didn't even show up!! If you need to get classes done, go to Peaceful Solutions, 1/3 cheaper and you actually get counseled.
Ray needs to get his stuff together, he should take the class with us , god knows he needs it.Pathetic excuse of a counselor.
If you're court ordered they don't even look at the questionnaire you fill out as part of the intake. They know you HAVE to follow court orders, and KNOW that if you don't do what they say, you will go to jail so they give anyone who is court ordered a minimum of 12 months of "treatment" $40 a week, once a week. I completed several treatment programs and he still said I needed 12 months, and could give me 2 years. He said the treatment didn't matter and was outdated. (All completed within 6 months of going here) So if you're court ordered, sorry to say...you're screwed
Honestly, DO NOT waste your time here. They give you improper results for your situation and do not sympathize your situation AT ALL. Mind you, it's a $300 admission fee & $250/month if you "need" treatment. This was extremely disappointing for me and definitely a waste of my $150
Good place sorry about my anger type not fitting in much to the curriculum i minimalist anger lie to myself to make it better because those who anger me do it in really severely cruel ways and this did help a lot to go here but I feel it was not justified to go under court order it should be voluntary and promoted in the community
