Review of Med Manager Stacey Johns at NNH My experience with Med Manager Stacey Johns at NNH was very disappointing. When exploring options for managing symptoms, I found her to be unhelpful and disengaged. We requested genetic testing offered through the company, and after the results came in, we scheduled an appointment to review them. However, when we asked questions about the findings, Johns simply stated that she was “not instructed on how to interpret this,” providing no meaningful guidance. Afterward, we sent an email with our specific questions and asked that they be forwarded to the genetic testing company. To date, we have received no response, and our concerns remain unresolved. Based on this experience, the communication and follow-through were far below expectations, and I hope NNH addresses these gaps to better support future patients.
So sad. Our pediatrician referred us to this clinic last fall and we have yet to hear from them. I’ve called and left messages and, just like many others, still no call back. They probably have many parents trying to get their child in but there has to be a better way to handle the high call volume. Offer to email or text with updates at the very least. Such a bizarre way to run a business and a mental health practice.
My family has had the worst experience with Northwest Neuro. My 3 yr old has been showing strong signs of autism for a while so his pediatrician sent a referral to Northwest and said there weren’t really any other options in our area…. We had been on their “waitlist” for over a year. We FINALLY get a call after months of me calling/leaving voicemails. They had me fill out a TON of paperwork online that took me forever to complete. Then they said they would call me to schedule him in. MONTHS later they finally call me for an evaluation. It was with one of their providers. I think we spent maybe 20 minutes and just WENT OVER THE PAPERWORK with a “anything else you want to add?” question at the end. She then said it would take MONTHS for them to even call me to get him scheduled. That appointment was $260!!! For just an evaluation aka going over the paperwork! 😡🤬 I received a call a couple months later that said it would be 9-12 MONTHS before they could even get him seen for testing. I’m so beyond furious. It’s so incredibly important for kids with special needs to get early intervention and yet these are the type of providers we have to work with. Terribly managed and incredibly frustrating. I heard about Opal Health Centers here in Meridian and I filled out their paperwork online and the NEXT DAY I received a call, voicemail, text, and email from their office wanting to get my son scheduled. He’s seeing them next week. I can’t believe we wasted so much of our time on Northwest. Advocate for your child! Do NOT go here!
Stacey Johns, PMHNP-BC started working with my child 2 months ago for medication management to treat his ADHD and ASD. Stacey was professional and caring while hearing my needs and concerns as a parent, and also educating me on supported treatment options for my son. Stacey’s medical assistant Lindsay has been so responsive and collaborative in ensuring my son’s prescriptions are up to date and our appointment needs are met. This team has been amazing!
