Dr Carrie French was great with my daughter.

The doctor. Miss french was honestly the rudest children's doctor I ever met. My children see a lot of specialist throughout the norton healthcare network and this is the only time I felt out of place. She rushed through my daughters evaluation and didn't hear me out. When I was trying to go over medical history she brushed off what I said and didn't listen intently. I felt unseen and unheard. She seemed cold shouldered and unprofessional. Weird to work in a place geared towards children and be so cold and not approachable. I have never had a negative thing to say about nortons until now especially with a DOCTOR I might have dealt with this from the appointment makers but not the actual doctors that see my children. This is supposed to be an autism center as well and it was the opposite of what I pictured honestly I wish someone would see this and contact me so we could figure out some kind of resolve. All I know is im going to figure out a place to do another evaluation as I do not feel my needs and expectations were met today. Im highly disappointed in this offices actions and very disappointed in Dr miss french. And I say it like that because when I first met her I told my daughter this must be misses French and the doctor rudely corrected me in a condescending tone "Its DOCTOR" I apologized and explained i talk to my daughters school teachers all day so I instinctively always say miss or misses. Just ugh I wish there were more options for children with autism in Louisville I would take my daughter elsewhere

They are very good at getting children help however, Once you turn 18 they basically quit serving you and don’t give you any resources. I definitely think there needs to be more services for adults with autism ( I. E consualing, supported employment).

The psychiatrist are nice and are very helpful but don't stay very long. After several times of calling for help of needing an advocate to help with my daughter at school and promises of someone would call back the person did after 8 months! By then I had fought the school myself and got my daughter out of that toxic classroom and into the right one. I guess I shouldn't expect much better from KY my home state great at failing kids!
