Went in for med management for an eating disorder and PTSD, walked out being told she believed I actually had BPD, Autism and an anxiety disorder because of a 5 minute mood test by an NP and not a real MD. I also told her I wouldn’t take Prozac because of a bad interaction I had with alcohol as a 22 year old …she couldn’t get passed certainty I was Bi-polar. Over a year later of her not believing I had BPD I was refused refills when I refused to be given mood stabilizers. Please be cautious getting treatment from this facility or Brielle Stoyke specifically. I was almost medically gas lit, made to question my sanity, and almost coerced into the wrong treatment for an incorrect diagnosis and then denied meds because I ultimately advocated for myself and pushed back. I fired her and made an appointment with my PA 2 days later for recs for an actual MD who has experience with BED and PTSD. Her recommendations for therapy were with an individual with little experience with my issues and a waste of time and money. She is a pill dispenser and nothing more. Do NOT let her diagnose you.

I've been going to Oak Ridge Center for about 3 years. I came at a pretty hard time in life. I was able to get into see a therapist RIGHT AWAY. So thankful for that. I've never left. I did recently schedule a with Psychiatry and was able to be seen, THE NEXT DAY!:) how amazing is that. I love the staff there. I feel heard and welcomed. Thank you to all who work there!

Initial visit for medication management went well and they have friendly staff. I ended up leaving here and finding another provider due to a few issues: 1. They prescribed me medication that can impact asthma and failed to inform me of this before prescribing. I nearly had an asthma attack after taking the medication. When I brought this up, they were aloof and brushed it off as "oh yeah, some people with asthma have problems with that". That was very dangerous to not inform me. 2. My medication management person took a personal phone call on my med management meeting, which I found to be unprofessional and rude. 3. There is no patient portal or easy way to get a hold of your medication management person. The only way I could get a hold of them is to call the main number, wait for someone and hope that my person is available. There are plenty of other providers out there that have a portal where you can send secure messages or ask simple questions. I do not recommend Oak Ridge Center. There are other providers out there, I would look elsewhere.

After losing my long time provider, I was referred to the Oak Park Clinic. Having no one else to continue with my current meds I believed I had no other choice. However, during my first meeting, all my psych meds were discontinued. Ruthless! My last doctor actually listened. I suffer from with high anxiety and insomnia in addition to PTSD and depression. I also have fibromyalgia. As my anxiety and insomnia increases so does my chronic pain. With the meds I had been prescribed I was thriving. I am not new to pharmacology, I have been taking meds since I was 7yrs old. I feel I have tried them all. I need to heard. The meds that are currently prescribed, give me horrible side effects. I am unable to sleep, I have been having nightmares and will often wake up yelling or crying. This is not working and am afraid I will never feel heard.
