I can never get a hold of anyone here. And when I finally did, the lady I spoke to was so rude. It is unreal.

I flew in from another state because ocs took custody of my grandbabies as an emergency plan for safety so they could stay in the home. They stated there would be weekly check ins and if I had questions or issues I could call or text for an immediate response. This has not been the case! No weekly check ins, no communication what so ever even after trying to reach a supervisor! Now its been almost 2 weeks with no safety plan in place yet they still will not respond to me. I left 1 star only because I had to. Im reaching out to higher authorities to try to get answers!

Glad to see I'm not the only one with bad experiences. They sent out letters to family members requesting placement for children, and then didn't respond to emails or phone calls when contact was attempted.

Jim fox is a horrible case worker. He was very bias towards me and my family. He would promise visits, and not follow thru.

i have been a foster kids and apart of the independent living program, and they take their time ensuring you do not get the benifits, they also force adoption and had the child’s full pfd from years ago to the adoptive parents without a thought*all my money got given away and not a drop was spent on me or my future, since adoption doesn’t always work.

I was in their custody for about 5 or 6 years, and my main case worker was Karen knight. Didn’t do any of the things she said they would help me do and left me in homeless shelters for dam near the entire time. There was a couple of workers there however who were so incredibly amazing and I’m glad I had them when I needed them. Karen, do better.

These people will straight up lie and play dumb while keeping you from seeing your children.

My Opnion: I believe this agency became even more lethal to families and under the juducial Radar since it was separated from DHHS by Dunleavy by executive order in 2022. I believe it is the largest operating child trafficking ring in Alaska. In my opinion, they are paid to persecute children and remove them from their families to bloat up their budgets. And I agree with the previous post about Dotty Bowers. She probably has the highest productivity of OCS sundering families in Alaska. She lies, and the judge seems happy to swallow these worms with a smile on his face. They throw your civil rights out the window. Stay off their radar. They have it down and down and down, and that is where you and your family will go, shredded to debris in the OCS FAMILY WOODCHIPPER. How they manage to get state and federal funding for their heinous procedures and actions is gut-wrenching. All their files should be audited by federal agencies before one more dime is paid out!
