I am a crime victim who was approved for reimbursement through the New York State Office of Victim Services and saw Allene Hemingway at Ohana Psychiatry with that understanding. OVS required her to complete a standard treatment report in order to reimburse my therapy. Despite many requests from me and from OVS, the form was delayed and then submitted in a way OVS has described as incomplete, which has kept my reimbursement on hold. This has left me paying out of pocket for care I only sought because I believed it could be reimbursed.

Ohana’s clinicians are fantastic working with children, teens and families! They also work with perinatal mental health which is such an important resource for new parents! They take a number of insurances and are a great place to refer clients!
