One Sky Community Services

I was invited to a Holiday event where you drive in a parking 🅿️ lot that is decorated with Christmas ⛄ themed inflatables and lights. There was a hot chocolate stand where they offered regular and gluten free cookies 🍪. A Santa with spectacles and real white beard was there to present a gift bag 🛍️ to the young special needs person who was in the car with us. He opened his 🎁 presents and received really nice 👍 gifts. The traffic was backed up and did cause congestion at the three way stop 🛑 signs. I have only praise about the services and staff especially when people with special needs transition to assisted living. I was told they sometimes have a course offered to parents on how to deal with the paperwork that is involved with financial assistance.

A place where ADA violations were committed the first day Disallowing access to amenities (after a three month wait) And Not making proper accommodations for a severely federally disabled client I had waited three months for an appointment and lost my wallet. I Had to go find it. I was in a complete panic and called them nonetheless to let them know I’d be late. She said THAR was ok. I got there exactly at 2:33. She called the woman I was supposed to meet with who then conveyed to me she was in a meeting now, that I was over five minutes late I have severe temporal lobe epilepsy, a severe brain injury, two heart co dictions, a lesion on my liver which needs biopsied was needed someone to come keep me on track when I felt my mind was fragmented. On the nights I can not sleep and the epilepsy acts up, it’s like my brain is a glitching computer and I truly am unable to think clearly or in an organized way. The moment the seizure activity is resolved so generally is any major disfunctionality. That’s all I needed to say. And she made that time for me. She never even came out to greet me. That is truly unbelievable and reports will be filed

They have done nothing in the past six months to assist my family member in his situation, not even coordinate basic therapies: physical therapy, speech therapy or OT. NOTHING. The case manager also does not return phone calls to my father or myself. Incredibly unprofessional and obviously incompetent organization. None of the staff at Portsmouth hospital that I have spoken to has anything positive to say about One Sky. I strongly discourage anyone from using their services.

No help what so ever. Called multiple times over the course of 4 days trying to get assistance finding community service opportunities. Every time I was transfered to a voicemail for Mindy in HR. I left multiple messages but never recieved any call back. When I questioned the receptionist about Mindys availability, or lack there of, she disregarded my concerns entirely and stated "well I can transfer you to her line". I ultimately googled "non profit organizations" and was able to find something myself
