I love that I see all my doctors within a short distance of each other.

Zoom appointments through Optum, formally known as Everett Behavioral Health, are a very good way to forward/support my mental health. Moreover, Dr. Christine Suydam is a powerhouse. She takes her time with me. She explains in much detail, and In layman‘s terms, the plan and the reason for the plan. She explains the reasons behind medicines prescribed me. She explains what to look forward to in terms of side effects. She is extremely encouraging, very caring and loves her job. She is a professional, compassionate, and kind doctor I believe these attributes make her the best doctor I have ever experienced in my 51 years of age and in my22 years of navigating what mental health entails.

I have been Optum formally the Everett Clinic for years. Ever since it became Optum I really feel the care for their patients have since became very low quality. There are two exceptional drs there that go up and beyond the call of duty to care for their patients though. Dr Fankhauser and Nancy Roope are exceptional people and really are amazing. Some of the staff in the labs dpt at the Mukilteo location are extremely rude. I had to do labs and take an xray once a few months back and the person doing the xray was rushing me and snapped at me a few times. She had me undress in the xray room which I thought was very uncomfortable and awkward. While I was walking out, one of the lab technicians said that I was being rushed because the person doing my xray needed to leave. She was off shift at 5pm. I’ve got news for you all there.. I’ve been working with the public for years! I have never in my life rushed a guest or customer like that. If you have to help one last person or patient.. and it goes over by a few minutes of your shift that’s part of your job! Take care of it!! And don’t be rude about it! Being rude or snappy is completely unprofessional! I recently found out that after the first of the Year Jan 1, 2026’ Optumn will no longer be excepting Humana Insurence. I’ve been transferred all over the place trying to figure this out and what I’m going to do. They seriously only gave me until Dec 7th to make a decision. I have a major surgery scheduled in January. Humana told me that they would approve a continuation of care form submitted by my doctor so that I continue with my planned surgery with my Humana insurance. Yet when I reached out to my PCP, physical therapy and the knee Dr asking for this form to be filled out- the only reply I’ve received was from some medical assistant that I didn’t contact who said “no, we won’t do that for you, contact customer service”. Why on earth would I want to contact customer service- that’s like saying “we couldn’t care less about ALL you’ve gone through to get to this surgery for your chronic pain, please enjoy the run around from customer service who won’t be able to actually help you.” I may decide to just stick with Humana and look for all new drs. I hate to do this because like I said Dr Fankhauser and Nancy Roope are exceptional people that work for Optum and frankly it’s sad that I may need to change all my dr care switch and start over. Optum wake up call! Look back and see how patients were treated when it was formally the Everett Clinic. Your staff needs to be re trained on patience and how to treat people with respect and dignity. Stop over booking poor Dr Fankhauser as well. If you loose him or Nancy believe me, you will loose more and more of you’re faithful clients. I’m sure I’m not the only one feeling this frustration.

It was a mistake going to this place to see a doctor. They have the sketchiest billing practice in the area. They charged me twice for the same service. It was a virtual visit but they also charged me for an office visit, for the same visit! So I called the billing dept. for clarification, but the customer service woman was rude and impatient. Instead of trying to understand what I was saying and my rationale, she was going on with her thing which is "no matter how you see your doctor, virtual/in-person, there will always be a charge for an office visit"! Okay, so why did you charge me for a virtual visit for the same visit?! Why Im getting charged for two visits for one service? She couldn't provide any clear explanation and then started to say, oh because of your safety I can't see all the details of your bills, yet during the entire call she was able to see all the line items in my bill. She also said the virtual visit was for the doctor to look at your paperwork and it takes more time to do a virtual visit than an in-person visit! I was like huh! What BS is that?! We do virtual visits/interviews/meetings because it's easy and takes little time to prepare, and here she saying the opposite! Oh, she also said, that virtual visits take a long time time because the doctor has to sit down to talk to you! LMAO! I was like okay but I don't recall we were standing during my in-person visit though! In fact, in my life, I have never seen a doctor who evaluated me while we were both standing, and sitting wasn't allowed (unless that specific evaluation needed me to stand up for a couple of minutes)! So what are you trying to say? This place is run by crooks who are only interested in taking your money and nothing else. No wonder this place has such a bad rating. Now I fully understand why! It was a mistake going to this place. I'm done with them. Not going back again.

Dr. Tamoria is by far the best doctor I have had in my entire life of dealing with every kind of emotional stress, trauma and anxiety. My brain wouldn’t be the same without him. The rest of the staff is just fine. Nothing like what people on here described. That’s a bit dramatic which I guess makes sense for a behavior health clinic. I also have been doing my visits remotely since Covid so I could be wrong about the office. He deserves praise for sure. He’s always had my back. I appreciate him very much.
