Every time I’m here it takes 3+ hours. This is ridiculous

They do not care about your time. Everything takes forever here and they make everything difficult. Very unhappy with my care here. It shouldn’t take this long. Especially just to get a medication refill.

Their med-providers/ psychiatrists have ego problems that skew their evaluations, and that’s if you’re lucky enough to catch them on any given day. I personally, and others via FB, have experienced several instances where they’ll forget you in the waiting room for multiple hours only to finally tell you there’s no therapist or psychiatrist available. My most recent visit was going fine, after a couple hours of waiting and talking to one amazing therapist, I went to see the med provider who was dismissive before I even opened my mouth to speak. She made sure to verbalize her authority and intellectual superiority when I tried to bring up some very complex and non responsive symptoms that had been detrimentally mistreated and mistreated in the past. Despite all that, after mechanically reading standard, generalized questionnaires, her response was to offer a medication I explicitly stated I was allergic to and that had reduced my symptoms in the past by 0%. I have read stories identical to mine dating back to 2021. State funding needs to be pulled or accountability needs to be held, because this clinic is actively causing harm to a vulnerable community. If you are having a true mental health crisis, I IMPLORE you to find an alternative because the chances of you leaving in a worse state than you arrived, are next to guaranteed!

I can’t say enough good things about Ozark Behavioral Solutions. From my very first visit, the staff made me feel heard, respected, and safe, which made opening up so much easier—even as someone new to therapy. A kind Russian lady, was incredibly patient and welcoming. She guided me through every step, explained everything clearly, and made sure I felt comfortable. Even when my schedule changed or there were small misunderstandings, she/they all remained supportive and helpful. Every visit felt thorough but never rushed. The team answered my questions, created a plan that worked for me, and left me feeling calmer, more grounded, and like I finally had a starting point instead of feeling stuck. Mental health care can be intimidating, but Ozark Behavioral Solutions made it approachable, professional, and genuinely supportive. I always leave feeling understood, cared for, and more confident in managing my mental health. I highly recommend them!

If you’re having a mental health crisis please do not enter into this facility. The experience will only worsen your mental stability. I wish I could tell you where to go instead but we haven’t found it yet. All I know is this place isn’t it.

I want to preference this by saying that I have never gotten therapy or anything and this was my very first experience with anything of that sort. Everyone I talked to was nice except for the last lady, she was the nurse that prescribed things, i don't know her title. When she came into my room she didn't introduce herself, just a cold "come with me" but I couldn't understand her, I thought she told me somebody would be in in a minute, so I just stayed seated in my room and then she yells from across the hall "excuse me I said come in" and I said oh sorry. So I go into her office and I couldn't quite understand what she said to me but she said something about it being almost 9 o'clock and they're about to close. Seriously? I've already been here for four hours, two of which I was by myself waiting, but you're trying to make me feel guilty about you not getting out of here on time? Anyway, then she starts to ask the questions. She mentioned my cuts (not to mention nobody even offered to clean my fresh cuts, which I had cleaned most of the dried blood off with saliva in my car before I came in. I even called before I came asking if they would rather me go to the hospital and they said to just come to them. And it's not like I was wearing long sleeves and they forgot about it, they went halfway up my arm with dried blood in them) then she goes on this lecture about how she has discoloration spots on her arms and "when I look at people like you who have nice skin I think why do they wanna do that to themselves because I would do anything to get rid of my marks." And she kept using the word "ugly" when referring to both mine and hers (hers were not self harm by the way, she told me that) Then she goes on about why I shouldn't kill myself, that's not even why I was there, I never told anybody I wanted to kill myself they just saw the wounds and immediately that's what they think. Then she starts asking about my trauma and she starts prying and asking who did it and when and where and I don't know if that's on her list of things that she's supposed to ask but it was very uncomfortable, and she does not know how to read body language (or she didn't care) She then made me feel guilty for not reporting it... "you should've reported that. Why didn't you? Why didn't you tell your mom?" Yeah... I know, and I think about that every goddamn day of my life. At this point I'm on the verge of crying. She starts talking about the guy that has no limbs and her exact words were "see you wouldn't expect a guy like this to get a pretty girl you would think he would get an ugly girl or nobody at all but look he has a pretty wife and kids." What does that even mean? And what does that even have to do with me? I never said anything about me being ugly? The guy not even ugly he just doesn't have any limbs. That's the word she kept using, "ugly". Then she asks if I exercise and I said sometimes I walk but not as much as I used to because of how depressed I've been, understandable right? She starts talking about her weight loss, because she saw that I was overweight and she also brought this up right after I told her that I didn't have any friends so immediately she thought that people didn't wanna be my friend because of my weight. I'm a bigger girl, I know that, and I'm not sensitive to that kind of thing, but if you're gonna work in an environment with people who are struggling with God knows what, you need to have bedside manner, because something like that could push somebody over, you'd think she'd be trained to know that. She started talking about God too (One of the questions was asking about my religion so she knew that I wasn't Christian or anything) I don't remember exactly what she said because I did zone out but it was unbelievable. That lady needs to find another profession, because as somebody who has been too scared to go to therapy throughout all these years, I've never been more scared to get help... Anyway, ended up screaming and crying in my car and then I called 988 again.

🚨 Please Avoid This Place – They Tried to Hold My Wife Against Her Will 🚨 I took my wife in to get her regular medications restarted. She’s been on them for years, but we recently moved from out of state, so she just needed help getting back on track. What happened next was completely unacceptable. At first, things seemed fine. A nurse — a Russian woman — was kind and helpful. But then the doctor came in and started acting like he couldn’t understand my wife speaking clear English. He kept asking the nurse to translate, even though my wife was calm, clear, and in her right mind. She told him she just needed her medications and would go home to take them, like she always has. But instead, he suddenly said she needed a 96-hour psychiatric hold — just because she was new to the state and had high blood pressure. That made no sense. She wasn’t suicidal. She wasn’t a danger to anyone. She was mentally stable and advocating for herself like anyone else would. She explained that she has a primary care doctor, takes her blood pressure meds, and eats just fine at home. The doctor still pushed for the hold, saying she’d get 3 meals a day and help with her meds. We both said, “She can do that at home.” When she refused the hold, he threatened to call the cops. And he did. The police and a crisis unit showed up. But guess what? Both the officers and crisis team sided with my wife. They said she clearly didn’t meet the criteria for a 96-hour hold and that this sounded more like a medical issue — not a psychiatric emergency. They were trying to take away her rights for no valid reason. Thank God she stood her ground — and thank God the crisis team and cops were honest. Please be careful where you go for help. Not everyone has your best interest in mind. What happened to my wife should never happen to anyone else.
