Pacific Quest is a blessing, a God-send. At first I was against an RTC placement & the long distance from mainland USA. However, PQ has a team of exceptional, experienced, well-trained, & loving personnel. In about 90 days, they achieved clear & immense progress for my child & me. Where once I had little to no hope for a positive relationship with my child, now hope is clear for our short-term & long-term relationship. PQ is a blessing & well-worth the costs, aka investment.

Our teen is currently in his 8th week at Pacific Quest and we have been very happy with the care and support he has received so far. We have seen significant progress since he first started the program. His therapist is a good fit and we receive feedback each week about our son's progress. I am glad that we chose this program with the help of an educational consultant.

Therapists are decent, food was bad, limited physical activity to only like 1 hour per day. Some things were ridiculous, and many days were filled with boredom. Group therapy was not helpful and I truly participated in 95% of the group sessions. The only thing that helped was family calls which were only 1 time per week. Also, now I appreciate the small basic things in life that I didn’t have at PQ. Nothing special about PQ though. Mid place with a ridiculous cost. Google says 31.5 million in revenue in 2025. I did some calculations though and regardless of the revenue, I know for sure approximately 90% of the money goes straight back to the founders, like Chris K, Dr. Brittany, and the other founder. The expenses are marginal compared to the cost that each person pays per night. If they are about mental and physical wealth, at least integrate more physical activity options, and spend more time and money on decent resources. Fake advertising too with the website because they only show pictures and things that are solely for the adult program on the website. Chris K., listen to your Executive Directors ideas and actually integrate them instead of being greedy for the money. The Executive director is Mason Isom; he is the only intelligent person who is part of the company. An example meal at PQ looks like ground turkey with no seasoning or cooking oil on it, kale, and brown rice. Worst food I have ever eaten because I had no other option.

Highly reccomend Pacific Quest for families with kids with behavioral issues. I dont believe in miracles, but how they ve helped us with my child and whole family dynamics is close to a miracle.

I was an adolescent here back in like 2015. A lot of the lessons did not stick with me when I left but I look back on my time here fondly. I learned a lot, I grew a lot. It’s tough, it’s annoying, it’s boring, it’s painfully introspective. Thank you. If anyone here still remembers Jack Phoenix, he was here with me. He died not long after he left. Could you guys put a sign on the lychee tree in his honor?

Overall, we were satisfied with the level and type of treatment our daughter received at PQ. This was a necessary step after we had tried many other avenues to help her stabilize. We appreciated the holistic approach to medicine, food and supplements to help support a healthier way of living. The therapy and group interaction was also very helpful. Aside from our daughter's treatment, we, as parents were also following a parallel process to rethink the family dynamic. It was almost as much about our daughter as it was about us. Lots of parent groups, calls and family therapy to change our approach and learn how to handle situations in a better way. About 2/3 of the way thru the 90 day program, we attend the Family Program (Fam Pro) 3 day intensive. It turned out to be a very valuable use of time and allowed our family to connect and understand each other much differently. We really connected with Dr. Rob Gent and this provided a path to deeper understanding of our daughter and her mindset. There were a few bumps in the road and not everything PQ did was perfect. Nobody is, I suppose. But we provided feedback to them and hopefully they can learn new ways as well. We all can...

The therapeutic school industry has a terrible reputation. We were referred to PQ by an educational consultant as a program that supposedly could help our teen without the ill treatment associated with the industry. That was our first mistake. The consultant, from outside Philadelphia, was a ripoff. She was more concerned with her relationship with PQ than our teen. We found PQ to be a program for teens with problems that couldn’t deal with a teen with problems. The therapist was well meaning but the program, which, despite ownership’s denials, utilized solitary confinement, was less than helpful. I could not recommend PQ for any family in need of help.

Absolutely awful. Abhorrent. Disgusting. This place should be closed down already. Do not send anyone here if you care for their wellbeing.
