Palm Beach Speech & OT Specialists

I have worked with the dedicated staff at Palm Beach Speech and OT Specialists since 2021. As a play therapist, they are my go-to practice for my clients' speech and OT needs because I know they are knowledgeable, professional and trustworthy. I'm grateful we have this resource in our community.

I’ve been thrilled with the incredible progress my 2.5-year-old has made since he started seeing Ms. Lisette, and a few weeks later, began attending their PlayPals preschool twice a week. We moved from NYC to WPB in July when he was just over 2 years old - he’d been in a preschool program in the city since he was 18 months and loved it, but he was speaking very, very little (maybe 10 words); because all of the teachers and students over age two wore masks all of the time (as did many people in nyc, ourselves included) he did not learn to associate the movement of one’s mouth/lips with speech production. In the few months since then, he has transformed - before, he was shy and withdrawn, saying very little and frequently using non-verbal gestures to communicate; now he is excited to speak to me and isn’t afraid to try out new and difficult words. He has been energized and empowered by his new ability to express himself and his personality has really emerged in the last few months. He is so happy he can now speak, it’s been such a joy to watch him just blossom and come out of his shell. My older son’s experience with occupational therapy was a little less seamless at first, as his provider was less experienced than I would've liked, but they established a good report and she has stepped up her game significantly in terms of providing us with useful feedback and working with him on specific things I’ve communicated to her are challenging areas for him.

The team at Palm Beach SOS is truly world-class. We travel from Michigan to attend their intensive autism therapy. They have made such a huge difference in my son's life. Can't say enough good things!

We have been working with Ms. Lisette and have made great progress.

I started taking my 4 year old son here 2 years ago. He was diagnosied with Speech Apraxia. They were the first clinic to understand his diagnosis and address it promptly and effectively. He has made huge strides in not only his speech but his behavior and confidence has gone up. He loves his therapist Miss Lisette and is beyond excited when he gets "sette" time. My daughter was also diagnosed with Speech apraxia when she was 18 months old (genetics...) She sees Miss Giana and Miss Jess. What is crazy is getting her in almost a year earlier than her brother and the strides she has made. It really has made me a firm believer of how early intervention can truly help your child. Don't wait or listen when people say it will come. If you feel like your child is behind or something is wrong it doesn't hurt to get a professional opinion. What I love about this place is they don't try to over sell you on therapy they are realistic on what your child can handle, and they are just determined to help them succeed. We are so thankful for this place :) They also both see OT's (Miss Tanya and Clare), which has been super helpful and the fact the two therapists work in the same building and communicate on what they are working on is huge. Speech and OT truly go together its all about the motor planning.

We have been using the services of PBSLS for about three years now and we are very happy with how knowledgeable, caring and fun the therapists are. The facilities are top-notch and my child has a great time during sessions. Best team in town!

My 11 year old has received services since she is 2 years old from different speech pathologist. Even though my child benefitted from the other speech therapies, Dr Rosin and all the team at her practice are by far, the best in our area, in my opinion. They approach speech and language in a safe, naturalized, playful and loving environment for children of all ages. During the pandemic my very high functioning child was in need of intervention to help her gain back and sustain some of her social skills. Thanks to Dr.Rosin and Mrs.Lisette my daughter has recovered and even improved in her communication and understanding of herself and others. We were able to reach this goal in a relatively short period of time too. I only wish we had been able to have this team work with our child when we started our journey 10 years ago. We highly recommend it!❤️

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Lisette. She is absolutely the most wonderful, kind and caring speech therapist my son has been to. My son has seen multiple therapists in the past and we have had the best results in the shortest amount of time. HIGHLY recommend PBSLS!!!

Palm Beach Speech-Language Specialists has been a Godsend to our family! I am a speech pathologist myself, and flew in from Michigan to do an intensive 4 week program with my 2 year old son. Dr. Sheryl Rosin, who is the owner and director utilizes an evidence-based treatment program called The PLAY Project, which is play oriented, and tailored to each child’s specific needs and interests. This type of therapy, as well as the expertise of Dr. Rosin and her wonderful staff was like the secret recipe we were looking for. I saw the world come to life for my child, and how excited he was every day to go to their center! We saw immediate results, and couldn’t believe that our little guy went from saying 3 words to about 20 in such a short period of time. He started to become engaged in activities, and eye contact and shared attention greatly increased. Things just clicked for him! We also loved the fact that parents are an integral part of the treatment so it can be continued at home. We were able to receive speech and OT at the same center, because Palm Beach SLS works closely with Interplay, a wonderful sensory based OT facility on site. Additionally, there is a sensory and language preschool as well..This is a one-of -a-kind center that should really be the model for all autism and speech and language centers. Every person there is an angel! We were always treated with respect, kindness and compassion.. I will forever be grateful to them for giving him a spark, and connecting with my sweet boy in a way no one else could! Coming here was absolutely the best decision! I would give 10 stars if I could!
