The office girls are very nice and they are always professional.

I have been a patient at Park Valley for over 4 years now and have nothing to say but great things about the top notch service and wonderful folks who work there. All the way from the receptionist to therapist to the doctor ---- without exception they are all the best of the best! In the past when I dealt with other mental health service providers I'd sometime cringe at the thought of having to see my therapist. However, thats not the case with Park Valley! I actually look forward to my bi-monthly appointments with my therapist who I've managed to develop a true friendship with thats based on honesty and a true sense of caring. I can't recommend Park Valley highly enough!

Miscommunication issues with first appointment. Rude staff. I spoke with them several times and they never told me that if I have to cancel my first appointment they wouldn’t see me. I explained that I was having transportation issues and they’re told me to take a cab. ??? I can’t afford a $50 cab fare. They are more interested into money than caring for a client. I wouldn’t want to be their client with their unorthodox values as a behavioral health facility. Good riddance.

Would give no stars if there was an option. This place is off and everyone is weird. It feels more like an interrogation rather than counseling. You are there for help not to feel like you are being dissected apart and made to feel like you are wrong for being there. Don't waste your time!

Absolutely terrible, the way they speak to their clients is unacceptable. The lady answering the phones should be fired. I have been trying for months to plan an appointment for ADHD which I have had severely struggled with. Any person with with ADHD or neurodivergence knows how difficult it can be to go through all the steps of getting medication for one’s issues. The guilt, the discomfort, the lack of control. It’s an absolute spiral of emotions (especially on the days leading up to the appointment.) And whoever is in charge of taking new clients and talking to existing clients has me concerned not only for myself but for anybody with ADHD. They are condescending, demand you make it to appointments placed months in advanced ( no canceling or rescheduling is allowed) but the best part is, they will cancel on you, I was called weeks after the initial appointment was set just to be told that my insurance couldn’t be taken, to be walked through why in a kind manner would have been a different story, but the nurse was condescending, acting as if I should have knew my insurance needed updating. Needless to say that I hung up and chose to go to a different office that’s more equipped to actually deal with neurodivergence. Please do not go here if you you are neurodivergent. This doctors office is not worth it, they will make you feel worse then you did before scheduling the appointment. They also will never answer the phones. I haven’t even spoke to an actual doctor through this experience, just unqualified nurses that should completely reconsider their profession. The best doctors and nurses I’ve met put their clients first, while parkvalley behavioral health does the opposite. I’ve never been more disappointed in healthcare professionals. Hopefully they get it together, at least for the few remaining clients they actually do have.

I'm never going back.. I had the flu and they canceled all my therapy appointments because of it. I am not allowed back for a year because. Terrible people. They never even let me know. Waisted over $30 in fuel and 3 hrs worth of driving. They obviously have poor ethics. It also shows they have no true concern for their patients well being.

I saw Brittany Halpern for a little bit when I first moved to wheeling. She came off as cold at first but I overlooked it and I guess you could say she helped me with what I needed at the time. Recently I have tried to get in touch with her just for some sort of proof that I had visited her (needed for financial aid) as I am in nursing school and she has not returned my calls, (not even to tell me she can’t help me) and I was told by a woman at the front desk (Bri) (who was more worried about going to lunch) that in order for Brittany to write any proof up for me I would have to be an active patient. So because I’m not paying them, they refuse to help me. You would think the goal is for their patients to STOP seeing them.

I had an appointment set up to see one of the therapists there. Whom is definitely from what I’ve heard is wonderful. No shame on them. This comment has nothing to do with the workers there. But it does go towards their “policy”. When scheduling for an appointment, you MUST show up for your scheduled Evaluation. If you DO NOT, and have to cancel. They punish you for canceling it due to any given reason for that cancellation. In result, you have to wait 1 year to be seen again at this facility. I don’t believe that this is at all the right approach. And as for myself whom has been in the psychology/mental health field… I am highly disappointed in the actions done… I understand clientele keeps the business going, and therapists/doctors have to make a living too. When scheduling is messed up, you never turn and punish your clients for that. But to give your “new” or “current” patients/clients- 1 chance is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS AND UNPROFESSIONAL. That shows to me “you accept your clients….. to just let them down.” If I could…. 0 stars for Class
