My 5y/o son saw Ashley and Paige at Parkwood before, during and after his post lingual frenectomy. They were both so kind and patient and very knowledgeable. They helped us with insurance questions and always made my son feel comfortable and willing to participate in the required exercises. They gave us off boarding materials to keep practicing his speech exercises at home. I highly recommend them and the whole team at Parkwood for your speech and language therapy needs! My family has been continually impressed by the SLPs at Parkwood! We tried a couple other clinics after our first SLP moved away and the experience we encountered was nowhere near the level of Parkwoods therapists. My kiddos can be tough to get engagement from when they first meet people, and the therapists here always get them engaged and interacting with them right away. All of the therapists here are super knowledgeable with AAC devices and they’re even prompt trained which is a key factor for one of my kiddos to get his words out. They’re all so great with kids, very kind and patient! I am so happy we found such an amazing clinic with fantastic SLP therapists.
We are new here but have had an amazing experience so far
Both my kids love it. Especially by younger one , it was his first camp of any kind and every morning he was excited to go. Him being on spectrum and adjusting to new people and environment is a great challenge for him , yet he made friends , played with them .
Amy, Charity, Cassie and other supportive staff at Parkwood have been really amazing. They know their stuff and are so warm and kind. Working with my 11 year old has been easy and we truly look forward to seeing Amy. My son has been doing pre-exercises and post for a frenectomy and they have supported him through each step. Cannot recommend Parkwood more!
Love Parkwood! Bridgeport location is great. We have been coming here for a few years now and all Speech Therapist we have had have been great. Reagan is our main clinician and she’s been a huge part of our journey. Our Daughter has Apraxia so if any parents are looking for speech therapy in that area. Highly recommend. We are now doing prompt training as well and Megan and Cassie have been great. Love these ladies.
