First of all, this place can't keep a good therapist or psychiatrist to save their life! Why? Because the lack good service and accountability. I have had 2 therapists leave in a matter of months from each other. The office is utter chaos. If I have a 9am virtual appointment, I should be able to get in contact with thw office at 9am. If you are open you should answer the phone. These people do not answer the phone before 11am. How does that make sense if you are open? That goes for both locations. Then they would not make me an appointment for service because i had a balance. I HAVE MEDICAID! There should be no balance. How are you charging me a copay and denying me services when I did nothing wrong. Then there is the random cancelation of appointments when I didn't request it. Im leaving this practice. Please dont join or stay a patient here. Update: I was told today that because I expressed my experience and opinion here on google that the owner, Tiffany Davis, who will be reported to the state for patient abandonment, is forcefully discharging me and refusing to provide medication which i also found out is illegal if she is not the presciber and withholding a bridge refill over a google review is illegal. Also abruptly cutting off a patient from services is illegal. While it can be considered that i formally notified them that i am leaving. It is still considered retaliation to use my need of meds and a google review against me. Being that I requested a bridge supply, i cannot be denied that because she is mad at me. This is still medical abandonment. I hope she sees this because she is a terrible person to deal with. I mean even therapists from other places I talk to know her and have gotten a plethora of clients who left her and said she was an awful person.. She has a reputation. And it ain't flowery. She can go to some places thats not heaven.

I had expectations of optimism, tact and respect from my therapist but was often met with snark and dismissiveness. I lost faith in the industry after doing this for six months. Started having a really hard time after my therapist kept sharing their problems, maybe in an attempt to reach me but I had no interest in becoming someone like him. I’ll admit confessing some of the difficult things in my life did help. But I don’t think these people are compassionate or empathetic at their core. I think they expect mental illness to be easy to recover from. I had to stop after the continuous suggestions to expect less out my life from Wilson. Saying “Stop worrying” is not therapy, thanks.

POM was wonderful for the hardest 2 years of my life. One day I had a session with my therapist and she informed it was our last. I was devastated. I reached out to POM for a path forward but unfortunately they did not have anyone that could accommodate my needs. This place truly helped me during some rough times however I was disappointed in how things ended. I had no plan and no recommendations. I would encourage POM to give patients a couple of weeks notification if their therapist is leaving the practice so the patient can develop a plan. This experience has left me confused and searching. Thank you POM for the two years but please do better in future situations like mine.

Peace of Mind Therapeutic Services and Solutions are by far the best in Frederick! After trying several local therapist I found one that was able to truly connect and help me. They are very welcoming and took the time to truly assess and assist me.
