I LOVE going here. Dr Layher is the absolute BEST dr I have ever had. She is kind, compassionate, and she actually listens. She compared the very long list of medications I have tried with other medications and realized that SSRIs are not for me. Dr Layher is an amazing dr and I very highly recommend her.

I had an appointment with Dr. Layher at Peaceful Minds and was disappointed by how the intake was handled. I arrived early and was calmly filling out the initial paperwork when I was confronted by the doctor herself and told I hadn’t completed forms I had already submitted. I was then told I wouldn’t have time to finish—even though the appointment time hadn’t even started yet. I felt rushed, judged, and ultimately dismissed. When I tried to express discomfort with how I was being treated, I was told the appointment needed to be rescheduled. Unfortunately, I didn’t feel respected or safe in that space. For anyone seeking trauma-informed or recovery-aware care, I would recommend asking your provider about their intake process and communication style in advance. I’ve since chosen to go elsewhere.

I have been going here for 7 years give or take. Jen is my doctor she is absolutely amazing. Also this place offers telehealth and with this it makes life so much easier when being a single mom who can't afford to miss work and has two kids. This is a great option they have. I have always been treated with respect I have nothing bad to say about this place or the doctor I see here. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone seeking this kind of care.

I love Dr. Layher. She's been pretty amazing working with me. She is very straight forward and is willing to talk with me or help with anything I've needed. Such as when scheduling appointments, helping space them out enough to afford seeing her regularly. Making sure I'm able to get my meds and even re-sending my prescription elsewhere if I couldn't pay for them at one pharmacy. The other office workers have been very helpful to me as well. I've been to this office in the past but am glad to have such an awesome psychiatrist who makes me want to do better in my life as a whole. With her help I've made long strides in the right direction and I am super grateful for their services.

Jennifer’s care comes through in each appointment. I always feel heard. She takes my version of crazy with ease — and makes me feel liked in the midst of it all. Never had an issue with office staff either. Highly recommend! And worth the wait if it takes awhile to become established!
