Pediatric Advanced Therapy Winston-Salem

I think my son got dropped as a patient from PAT Kids. I missed an appointment because I wasn’t aware of it and they won’t return multiple calls and voicemails where I’ve asked to schedule an appointment. I’m really disappointed because my son liked them and I have otherwise been responsive and always paid on time. At least they should have given me a proper explanation for why they dropped me. Will not recommend.

We've had a terrible experience with PAT kids especially after their recent acquisition by a large private equity funded for profit company in November 2025. Their actions demonstrate that their priority is to stay on top of billing your insurance carrier for the key money making services while giving you poor service and also skipping any lower reimbursing sessions. The therapists are often different when they try to do a longitudinal check and most of the conversation time is spent presenting the old history which is something they should already know. But they don't know because they have such frequent turnover and try to farm out the work to remote workers for I would assume the lowest pay they can get away with. It's not PAT kids fault. That's just the industry and healthcare in America now. Profit driven care with smart private equity owners that know how to outmaneuver the system to milk insurance and patients for as much money as they'll allow them. It's sad to see it first hand.

We have been seeing Ms. Angela for about a year for speech therapy and she is absolutely WONDERFUL! The way she engages my daughter has been such a blessing, making something that could be a chore, fun! My daughter looks forward to seeing her each week and has improved so much!! The office staff is always friendly and remembers us week to week. They all deserve⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

Our son needed PT right away after a long hospital stay. We were thankful to be assigned to Emily who worked with him diligently and really meets our son where he is at. Emily always made sure I knew what we needed to be doing at home to best support. I am thankful for the progress made because of Emily and looking forward to continued positive growth.

We brought our daughter here to help with her range of motion and her head shape in PT. Her therapist Emily communicated with us and showed us stretches and ways to help her at home as well as being gentle and effective working with an infant. The three months we saw her our daughter made great improvements and met all her goals. The staff at PAT were super friendly and kind.

My daughter's physical therapist, Emily, is the best of the best. She has helped her overcome fears and gives her that extra boost of confidence to do the impossible. Thanks to Emily, she has become an explorer with no physical obstacles to hold ger back. We are grateful!

My son Floyd has been coming here and has seen tremendous improvements with his speech, thanks to Ms. Angela and Ms. Kayla! He loves them both so much, and has gotten so much better with his speaking!!! He also seen Ms. Emily for physical therapy and that helped his toe walking, he does it some still from being excited but Emily was great! He has OT with Ms. Jill and always has so much fun while learning and it has helped him at home with things like putting socks and shoes on and dressing himself!! This is the first place I’ve taken Floyd to that has thoroughly explained what they do, what will help and what I can do at home to help him as well!! Thank you so much PAT Kids!!
