Pediatric Psychological Associates, PLLC

We had a great experience with Helping Kids Reach Higher. The staff was very friendly and the doctor helped us navigate the next steps for getting the support my child needed. The office space is super cute and My child was always excited to go see the ocean themed office.

After waiting over 2 months for them to have availability, I reached back out to them. Gwen said they refused to see my daughter who is in need of therapy because our family is in a divorce/ custody dispute. Apparently their doctors can’t be inconvenienced to go to court if needed. It really shows there is no concern over the well being of a child. This is a time when she needs support and therapy the most!

Not sure the staff knows what they are doing. Do not seem concerned with getting the child to open up and use leading questions to teach conformity. Concerns by parents are completely ignored. Witnessed one of the female therapists clearly being rude to a dad in a split household situation. It was unprofessional. Find somewhere better if you want the best for your child. Even the few good therapist here have bailed and gone somewhere else. Now we are too.

There was a waitlist but everywhere else has one too. Very respectful and reasonable. My son felt comfortable during testing and enjoyed the space room. Would recommend to anyone! They accommodated our specific situation and was very patient.

I wish I could give a 2.5, b/c once you get in they seem to know what they're doing. From a customer service perspective, it's rough. We needed to get an appointment in prior to my changing jobs which was great, they got it done, but then submitted the claim for after I left my job and we're dealing with a big charge. When we called and emailed for our child's test results, we had to follow up several times without a response. The offer manager is great, works hard, but the docs really are either overworked or focused on other things, as we couldn't get them to respond to us. Pretty disappointed b/c from the care perspective we think they know their stuff (though they rushed through testing), but when it comes to taking it over the finish line, we didn't get there.

I absolutely love all the staff at Pediatric Psychological Associates. They are all very warm and friendly and are very professional. They are absolutely wonderful about scheduling appointments to meet your needs and schedule. I highly recommend this group of professionals to anyone in need of pediatric services. They helped my family more than I could ever say and for that I will be forever grateful.
