I completed my PEP class with Amy Korte on 9/14/25. I still have not received the certification form. I emailed her several times but received no response. $150 gone. No response to emails or calls from this place.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. If you're looking for help, please look elsewhere. Every time you call this place, it says the receptionist is on another call which and you're put on hold for 5 minutes, then the call intentionally drops. If you try going to the physical location, the door is locked even though the hours claim to be open till 8 pm. If you email them, you will also probably not get a response. Please save yourself the time and effort and look for other places.

I have been seeing a counselor here since the beginning of the year. I have been in and out of therapy for years. After seeing my counselor I have a diagnosis and have started on the right path. The reviews that I've read here do not reflect the care I personally get. I have recommended this practice to a few friends as well. Thank you Perspectives for all you do for me

Hi I called today to make an appointment for my son They pick up the phone from the second ring, The lady Amy was very nice and answered all my questions. I asked if I could make an appointment for my adult son because he is working. For privacy she could give the appointment. Witches something I liked . They showing that they are maintaining the privacy of their clients. I am hoping my son will get schedule with you . Thank you Amy.

My experience there was rediculous..I just left there in December 2019..I could NEVER reach anybody when I called..never got returned calls..I always had to go there to express my issue..I tried all the numbers..when I go there there's never a receptionist..explains the reason we can never reach anybody..I was doing iop there and had to stop going because I was the only female in a group of all men..I have severe trauma with men and I expressed my worries about it and nothing was done and instead of telling the court the real reason I stopped attending there and started at ct counceling on Pratt street..they gave the court a really bad review about me..I highly recommend ct counceling..they have separate men and womens group as well as individual care..and there own psychiatrist..Jill at perspective was very nice but her hours tend to b unacceptable for most but if ur only avail at night she's good but still reccomend ct counceling..

I don’t even want to put one star. I came in for my last appointment for my medicine and did not receive my refill of one medicine that I’m on. I have all of the others and they keep avoiding or not communicating and sending me letters that are irrelevant and almost as they completely are oblivious to me telling them I am going to a practice closer to me. That doesn’t mean ignore me and not refill my medicine when I did go to my med management visit. This is how they operate I guess and patient is not the priority. Terrible !!!

This counseling agency is reporting the clients to DCFS making false accusations/using misinformation to start intense investigations -- in hopes of getting the clients to panic and seek more counseling with them in order to keep their children. Anything you say in the sessions will be misconstrued and will be used against you. After the reports are made this counseling agency calls from private numbers and badgers them to set up service appointment plans. It seems as though they are going to great lengths to keep their clients hostage and make money off of them. This agency is not helping people with mental health but further intensifying clients' mental health. They are crooked and they lie and twist words around. If you want cops showing up at your door and a dcf case , feel free to get services from them. If not I suggest you seek help elsewhere. This is not a place that can be trusted or where clients can feel safe. Just look at the other horrendous reviews on here, facebook and on yelp."
