I don’t understand the negative reviews. Our behavior management person recommended piece by piece over wheee we were going before because they are a lot more open at facilitating relationships with outside providers (ot pt speech behavioral management etc) and the place we were at before hadn’t been as open with their cooperation. Also, she thought the programming with group time would be more intellectually engaging than what my daughter was experiencing before. They have regular group time and have found craft projects that my very low functioning intellectually delayed daughter stays engaged with. They were able to code academic skills like reading so that it fit under her communication goals, so that therapy would be covered and it would bring her closer to reading or being able to type out requests. She’s always been interested in words and letters, is 13 now. Everyone has a positive attitude there. The only thing I don’t like is the parking lot, so I do pickup on the road…. 😝
