Completely destroyed my son’s HAIRCUT . I don’t recommend Haircut hut at all !! Very upset & disappointed!!
I cannot say enough about the barber shop at this place!!!. I’m awful with names so I don’t remember the stylists name, but she is AMAZING!!. My son is not about having his hair touched AT ALL. And she is so patient and creative with trying to get his hair cut. I would recommend this place to anybody and I can’t thank her enough for how she is with my Jaxson. We have another appointment Saturday to try and get more cut off so I will find out her name!!!
My 9 year old just had a haircut by Carolyn, and she is AMAZING! She immediately made him comfortable. I HIGHLY recommend!!! We will be back for sure.
I’m going here to open up. So grateful for this establishment
Shell and the others have been a true BLESSING to our family! Our little guy attends the preschool respite program. It’s been awesome to watch him acclimate into a more structured, social, accepting environment! He’s been able to make friends and enjoy being somewhere other than home for more than a couple of hours each day. We were in awe of our little guys ease into the environment, and the patience and kindness that was shown to him! 100% recommend not only the respite program, but also the awesome play options they have available!
I really love what they’re doing at this place for kids with special needs. I took my little guy, who has autism, to get his haircut here for the first time, and the lady who cut his hair was amazing. She was so full of energy, patience, and love, and really took the time to understand my son. The haircut room had a lot of toys, which might be great for many kids, but for my son, it was more of a distraction. If he’s having fun and then gets interrupted by the buzzer, it can be really uncomfortable for him. He’s been to several barbers before, and I’ve been working on helping him understand that he needs to stay still and wait patiently for the haircut to be done. He’s not always able to do that, but usually, we manage to get through it. It’s not their fault or his; it’s just how he is. Next time we go, I’m thinking about suggesting a few things to make the haircut easier, like maybe cutting down on the distractions in the room. Hopefully, that’ll make things smoother for both him and the barber.
We love this place, started being monthly membership holders back in January, my son can just be comfortable as his autistic self and fully enjoys all the sensory activities. Staff is awesome too. I am really anticipating when they add ABA therapy as one of their services, we haven't actually used the hair cutting yet, as one can see.
