Playful Speech & Feeding

Miss Lacey at Playful Speech & Feeding is truly a gift to our community! After realizing other speech therapy centers in our area had a 9 month wait list, I was so happy to find her. Lacey was able to get my son in right away for an evaluation and started therapy within a week. He instantly hit it off with her and has enjoyed every session. Most importantly, he has grown in his speech abilities and his confidence. We are forever grateful for Miss Lacey!

Playful Speech and Feeding has been a wonderful addition to our family as we work to help our autistic son learn to talk. My son loves going to therapy each week and Lacey has treated us with such kindness and compassion in every session. In what can be a very overwhelming situation at times, she has been a very helpful and encouraging support.

We were in search high and low of an SLP that was versed in apraxia, final consonant deletion and more, but especially those. We were quoted months to over year of wait time from many places in Des Moines and Ankeny surrounding, to even get an evaluation- however Lacey, being private, was able to get us in almost immediately the next week for evaluation. Anybody who knows me, knows that I really want nothing but absolute best for my child, and with Lacey we have found just that. She is extremely qualified, professional and FUN for my child! The environment is so fun and therapeutic, the ways she does therapies are creative ways that I would have never thought about. She has many up to date solutions for my child and continually brings more ideas to the table to collaborate and help us. We have been nothing but pleased with the professionalism of Lacey and we are truly blessed to have had the progress with apraxia that we have in our time of being there. 1000/10 recommend ‘Teacher Lacey’ for ‘Talking school’ as my son calls it!
