I count it a blessing that my family found Pooja and her team at Progressive Speech Therapy. We’ve been with the team for a little over 6 months and we have seen great growth in our child's language and speech development. While he still has a long road ahead, the progress is apparent to everyone in his orbit. The team makes a point to explain his condition, provide frequent updates and communicates the plan of action with us and anyone else involved in his care, if requested. We continue to approach his therapy as a community and our little one greatly benefits from this method. I look forward to seeing how he will continue to grow with their care. The Best Decision We’ve Made for Our Children Starting speech therapy with Pooja and her incredible team was, without a doubt, the best decision we’ve ever made for our children. Our older son began with them at 3½ years old, after spending a full year in another speech program with little to no improvement. Not only had he made no progress, but he had also developed bad habits from that previous instruction—habits that Pooja and her team had to patiently and skillfully undo before we could begin to see real growth. At the time, it was heartbreaking that most people couldn’t understand him. But just a few months into therapy, everything changed. That spring, I watched him confidently say his name on the t-ball field—and the other kids understood him. I was in tears. Fast-forward to today: he’s 7 years old, full of confidence, speaking clearly, reading well, and thriving. His transformation has been amazing. I had a phenomenal experience with Progressive Speech Therapy. My child received a referral for an evaluation, and while researching options, I came across PST. Pooja took the time to listen to the issues my child was facing on the phone, and even though she did not have availability for an evaluation in the time frame I needed, she was able to work with me to understand my child's issues and provide options that would help support my child in the interim. Pooja truly went above and beyond to help our family. My child has special needs and we were referred to progressive speech therapy by our previous speech therapist. Pooja Agarwal the owner has put her heart and soul into this place. She explained everything to me about my child’s plan and within few months I could see both his expressive language and receptive language grow.
