They could not handle my 5 year old autistic step son. Constantly sending him home and canceling sessions. If you’re looking for a daycare this is fine but if youre looking for progress this is not the place.

We have been with Project Mind for almost three years and will continue to be for as long as we can. Under their treatment and care, my daughter (who started when she was 2 1/2) is thriving and doing many independent activities. She’s found her voice, her personality, her social skills, is adventurous at trying new foods and has learned to better regulate herself with breathing exercises and yoga. All things that she struggled with since she was diagnosed with autism. Project Mind has been great to her and us as a family. They always put the kids top of mind to ensure resources are available to ease transitions with schedules or RBT rotations and they provide fun outings for us families to enjoy every once in a while. They are amazing and you’ll always feel like family there.

Edited 8/19/2023 First of all, Demarr, Alyssa and Brittany and probably a couple others are employees and are definitely Team Project Mind and the review is not accurate because they will be biased. If I finish these reviews, I'm certain there are more. The staff is a never ending revolving door. Inconsistent is an understatement. 5 BCBAs in two years is bad practice. The only time things are consistent is when Leigh is in charge but she's got a bunch of young kids of her own and can't take many clients and she's only one person. RBTs? That's a joke my son has not had a consistent one since over a year ago when his primary RBT left. Matter of fact, she and Brittany came from Hamilton center together. Once I placed him in the afternoon half day it got so much worse. I don't think he actually had a BCBA for a while. Save yourself the headache especially if your kid is non verbal. You'll NEVER truly know what is happening to them inside ANY center. My son's experience had just a few hiccups until the past year when he switched to the after school program. Putting him in school when I did because he was going to turn 7 in kindergarten after waiting for a homeschool experience and program that never happened within this center. Items they have in place get broken and not replaced, even the glass door that's been broken two months about and regulation trampoline. I was offered IEP support that never occurred. Crisis lockdowns without even letting parents know maybe we should pickup our kids. I've had sessions cancelled while en route but if you don't cancel there's a charge. I truly did my child a disservice by giving them free reign over the last two years of the most delicate developmental years of my son's life. Trauma based alright for a little kid with nothing but aggressive teens in afternoon, and a BCBA who admits they didn't know he'd been with them, that is the trauma. I did not know until someone else who didn't work there told me check on my son. Now no one gives me answers or footage but vilify my child when no one else who works with him gives ANY of the same reports. When you are stern and direct and ask for actual answers it's seen as aggressive. "We love your son" No they do not. Yes he had a few kind gentle rbts but kind gentle doesn't mean probably trained. ****** We've had a few hiccups along the way but it's going well. Staff is very accommodating and tight knit. My little guy loves it.

This place is a hot mess! We took my child out of that place and I’m upset with myself that it took us so long to do so. That place is inconsistent with everything they do and very unprofessional. Please do not trust this place to take care of your child. Also, why are there new rbts every single day?? My child’s Bcba quit because they were always stressed and told me they felt like my child would not thrive there. I would look elsewhere, there are good aba clinics with people who actually care about your kids.

Project MIND , is top on the list of aba clinics in Las Vegas. You have experienced RBTs who enjoy their work place and welcome your child with smiles everyday. They celebrate every mile stone your child reaches ,big and small! They’ll be your child’s greatest cheerleaders.

I’ve been to a lot of ABA clinics and this is by far the worst one we’ve gone to. If your child has bad behaviors than run as fast as you can from here because they make any excuse to send the child home !
