Project shield is an amazing program, the staff do a great job in making sure all individuals can be included into the Farmington community. They take them on outings to the movies, bowling & any special events around town like the fair & parades. Staff aren’t just there for the paychecks they create special bonds with each individuals & they juggle 3 individuals at time making sure each client is getting their days worth at the program. The program even gives these individuals a chance at employment staff are happy to assist when needed. Staff are even complimented out in the community thanking them for being in this tough field & having caring hearts working with these clients.
Not concerned with neglect by their care staff. A group comes into our store weekly and care takers completely ignore their “patients”. Witnessed patients fall without any assistance from the company worker to help get off the floor. Witnessed patients picking on and bullying another patient without any assistance from the care workers. I called and tried to talk to the company and it got me now where. Time to report their abuse to the state.
