My own experience here as a former employee was not positive. Things I've witnessed and experienced were not okay. Personal experience. I cannot speak for former employees as their experiences may be different than mine. But my time here as an employee was just awful mentally and emotionally. I am very glad I don't work here anymore and have finally found a place that is right and safe for the kids and the employees like myself. The kids come first and their treatment matters.
The best place for my child. Every day I leave without a worry. Regarding his therapy, I see a significant change that has helped him in his daily life.
Ghosting and neglecting to follow up with a parent and child in need is highly unprofessional. Consider changing your name to “dreadful moments” because from the personal experiences I’ve heard of how you treat your clients —- it seems fitting to the culture. Shame on you.
My son has been on the waitlist for this facility for the longest time, when we were able to go, we were didn’t have the insurance coverage. Once we did, we had to go back on a waitlist. Finally, we were seen in May 2025 for my son‘s evaluation and told he would start end of May beginning of June. Well, that timeframe passed we went all of June with not one phone call as to why he has not started. I called the facility multiple times and after the third or fourth time of calling, I finally got hold of the director. He had told me that my son would start sometime in July. Well, the start Date that he provided once again came and went with no communication as to why he did not begin. I called back yet again, and was advised that his new start date would be sometime either end of August or September; and you guessed it he did not start. At this point when I called back, I said should I look for another ABA facility that has their stuff together and I was assured that he would start either September 15 or the week of September 20 and that apparently a few of the therapist had quit and they were having a difficult time finding replacements. I was also told that my son was on a waitlist again, which I don’t understand how this happened because when I went for my initial evaluation with him in May, I was told he got the evaluation and was ready to start come the summertime because spots opened up. Well folks, you guessed it, yet again the September start date came and went and would you believe I didn’t hear from anybody from Proud Moments as to why my child has not started ABA therapy which she has been waiting for since he was diagnosed back in 2023. The long short of it, I found a better ABA therapist who was much more organized and had their stuff together. I called the new ABA place the day after my son was supposed to start with Proud Moments (this was the September starts date), I submitted all my information for my son to the new place one a Monday and within a week they had my son scheduled for an eval. By the following week we had our evaluation submitted to insurance, an approval, and a new start date for ABA Therapy. Not to mention this new place is coming to our home and we do not need to go to them like we would have if we stuck with Proud Moments. Parents, do yourself and your sanity a favor- STAY AWAY FROM PROUD MOMENTS!! Having an autistic child (or child special needs) already poses its own complications and having the headache of dealing with an unresponsive facility is the last thing on my list to do. Ditch Proud Moments and find a new ABA therapist or therapy site.
My son goes here and he loves it. I love it for him. They help teach them so much. My son just started about a month and a half ago and is talking a lot more than what he did before. I am so proud. I recommend this program to any parents that have kids in the spectrum.
Where do we begin! We were here for the grand opening, and it was Grand! Super excited to finally check out this new location at Vineland. The design and layout is well thought out and the kids seem to love it here. A quick walk through and you see all the different areas for kids to play, meeting areas for parents and adults and lots of storage space for the kids with cubbies and lockers. The staff was all kind, patient, and understanding. They go the extra mile to interact with and work with kids within their comfort zone and I love to see that! Congratulations on opening such an amazing facility. If you’re considering this location, go take a tour and see for yourself what we see!
