Providence Boyden Family Autism Center

The majority of the staff members have been exceptional in their service, however, I must address a troubling incident we experienced today during a phone call to cancel our appointment. The individual who answered the phone, presumably the receptionist, displayed a severe lack of professionalism. Their tone and reluctance to assist in transferring the call for the purpose of cancelling our appointment due to a positive COVID-19 test result left much to be desired. It is evident that there is a pressing need for thorough training in communication skills, especially when interacting with clients facing challenging circumstances such as having children with autism.

We had an amazing experience here. We were on children’s hospitals waiting list for months but once my doctor sent a referral to Providence we were seen within 5 weeks! We felt very supported here. Jennifer Beighly did my son’s autism evaluation and was wonderful. She was professional, kind, supportive and knowledgeable. She diagnosed our son’s ASD, went over what his diagnosis meant, allowed us to process his diagnosis and shared several resources with us. We felt very supported by Jennifer and all the staff at Providence. We have continued to be supported by them as well as they are always happy to help us navigate resources etc. Thank you so much!! 🙏

We had an amazing experience in the 12 week ABA Program here. Everyone in the program is amazing! I think this program is one of the best in the state! We saw more progress in this program in 12 weeks than my sons previous ABA program that he was in over a year. This program is life changing! Update: We have been apart of the bridge program for a couple months now-I’m continually blown away by the amazing staff here! Our BCBA Makala is so knowledgeable, helpful and caring. Our sons therapist Theresa has been amazing! Boyden has changed our families life-I’ve seen my son make progress I never imagined possible!
