This is primarily a review of the office coordination and follow up.I didn't actually end up needing to get services from this office in the end. I made an appointment about 9 months to a year ago just like any other office would be. I ended up getting into another counselor in the meantime but I was extremely impressed with the follow-up that psychological assessment specialists displayed. After having worked with many different counselor's offices I have some experience with the difficulties that some of them are going through in terms of being overwhelmed with clients. They still got back to me approximately 2 weeks before my appointment which I had entirely forgotten about to be honest. I then had to call and cancel my appointment and they handled it extremely professionally and with empathy. If I had need of services from a source aside from my current counselor I would absolutely return to this office.
The persons who have helped me with my son and daughter was fabulous freindly yet professional. the Secretaries were delightful and was able to assit me with all my questions. plus helped f me find other options that i could use in helping my children.
I was not pleased with the experience taking my stepson to this office. The ladies at the front counter did not speak kindly to me and were very terse with responses. Dr. Christensen was unprofessional and when trying to call and get some additional information from him, ignored all my husband’s phone calls. On top of that, he violated HIPPA when an unauthorized person called asking questions about my stepson and Dr. Christensen divulged information about our initial appointment to the unknown caller without verifying with either parent whether they were authorized to receive the patient information. I will not recommend using this office to anyone.
