Parents and Caregivers, Please Read Before Enrolling Puzzle Box Academy Rockledge! PBA Rockledge has an alarmingly high turnover rate among RBTs, which directly affects the consistency and quality of care. The skill level of staff varies greatly — some are caring and capable, while others seem undertrained or disengaged. Billing and accounting practices also raise serious concerns, and leadership appears disconnected and ineffective, contributing to constant staff changes and low morale. Despite promising individualized instruction and progress, the actual services delivered fall far short of expectations. Unfortunately, instead of a therapeutic environment where children can truly grow and thrive, this place feels more like an overpriced daycare with a nice façade. Don’t be fooled by appearances — look deeper before trusting them with your loved one’s care.

They told me their application fee and shadow day to see if my kid will be a good fit is $350 for 1 day. This is absolutely insane. Update Regarding the comment below. That is not truthful. They told me on the phone TODAY that assessment fees are being waived this month and the application fee is STILL $350 but $150 for my 3 year old. The $350 isnt for the week btw. Its for ONE SHADOW DAY. WHO CAN PAY 350 PER DAY?!?!?! They also said this has to be paid before the shadow day to see if my kids are a good fit which makes no sense at all to loose almost 400 bucks to find out your kid cant go there. I ALSO SPENT 3 YEARS SEEING DIFFERENT SPECIALISTS AND DOCTORS AND HAVE ALL THE DOCUMENTS FROM THEIR ASD AND ADHD DIAGNOSES, IEP MEETINGS, RECORDS FROM PAST ABA AND THIS SCHOOL ALSO WANT TO CHARGE ME FOR THEIR OWN EVALUATION. They said the UA scholarship does not cover the fee and you have to apply to be reimbursed. This is such a backwards process when we are just trying to help our kids. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL AT ALL TO FAMILIES NEEDING HELP WITH THEIR CHILDREN. I would like to be contacted by management. This process of miscommunication is becoming very frustrating.

Edit they do go to 12th now with their high school called Legacy High off Nasa My son has been coming here for the last 4 years and they have made such a difference in our lives He was bounced around from public school to public school because they just couldn't help him at 8 years old he couldn't write his name spell or sit at a desk and hold a pencil properly but the ABA therapy that they provide and the outstanding staff that they have that my son has made great turnaround He is now 12 and thriving and we couldn't be more happier I just wish the school and all the way to 12th grade

Director is so rude as soon as I walked in there everything was about money money money I just had questions about the newly accepted ELC that my son has (elc is recently accepted there) and I told her I have my awarded scholarship and she just shut me down and made it clear that those 2 aren’t enough to cover tuition and everything has to be paid upfront by the parent. And she told me that my kid has to sit and listen and follow direction as if she’s working with normal children. My son with autism was there and fed off her negative energy and he started having a melt down upon leaving we were unwanted and we both felt that. Place deserves 0 starts. Plus I was skeptical because I heard they throw kids in a padded room to calm down instead of working with them

I recommend Puzzle Box Academy (Palm Bay Campus) for any child with or without diagnosis of autism. This is the first school my daughter went to and she gets her ST, OT and ABA all in one location. The staff are great and will work with you. I put my daughter in puzzle box late 2023 she is non-verbal, autistic and not potty trained. Early 2024 they were able to potty train her and she has zero accidents. (We now travel with a toddler toilet in our trunk ) Today 5/3/2024 picking up my daughter from school she got in the car waved and said Hi. Best decision I’m signing up my son as well

My daughter has attended puzzlebox for the last year and a bit. It has been amazing for her. My daughter had been to another special needs school plus an ESE classroom in public school . None of these options were a good fit and looked long and hard for a school that could accommodate my child's needs. They worked with my insurance company and my McKay scholarship to make it affordable for my child to attend. I would not send my child to a school that I didn't have 💯 percent faith in . Keep up the good work puzzlebox. You guys are amazing .
