No longer performing fingerprints, was 20 minutes late to our appointment because when you google Identogo Raytown this is what comes up. Called the number and they said they haven’t done prints in 2 years. Huge waste of time
Good location easy to find
Signed up for fingerprinting and was not notified of facility closure. Showed up for my scheduled appointment time and was met with a locked door, no sign, and no notification. I waited 10 minutes and called 4 times with no response or regard.
I had an appointment scheduled for 11 am. I got to the location early and was able to be seen. I was in and out. She was nice. People may mistake her stern tone and no tolerance for foolishness as rude. She is not rude at all.
If I could give zero stars I would. Couldn't find the place which caused me to be late. No signs anywhere, besides a window decal in dark blue that can be barely seen from the road and the hand written sign on the door. The "barber shop open" sign and light up barber pole in the window is the only thing you can see. Does not look like any business is even being operated out of this building since it has a huge "for rent" banner hanging from the balcony. So I drove past twice thinking maybe the business moved and the address is not updated. Not the case, pulled in after passing it twice to park, only then from right in front of the door, could I see the small dark blue IdentoGO letters. Coming from 45 mins away this was the closest location to me. I made the appointment that morning online. I walked into the building at 12:32( my appointment was for 12:20). Apologized for being late and explained I had trouble finding the place, that I had just drove by two different times, gave her my name and she just looked at me and said "I don't take walk-ins". I then apologized again for running behind that I honest couldn't tell this was even a building that anyone operated out of and said "my appointment was for 12:20, I'm sorry, I came a long way, is there not another time I can wait for?" She just kept telling me she doesn't take walk-in's and that it was my fault for being 15 mins late-which I was not, then she tapped on her watch at me?! Like really? So I asked if there were any appointments after me and I would wait. She continued to call me a walk-in because I was 12 mins late. She said I would have to go online to book another appointment! I was the ONLY one there. Her car was the ONLY other car in the entire parking lot. She refused my service even though I made an appointment, and there was NO number online besides corporate to try and call to get ahold of anyone and say "hey I'm lost, can you better direct me?". So I sat in the parking lot for a little bit trying to find another location and not another soul pulled in the lot for any appointments. She could have taken me, regardless of 12 mins late or not. DO NOT GO HERE! Extremely rude and unprofessional. Run down, dark, dingy, not willing to work with the costumer. I did not deserve to be treated the way she treated me. Something tells me that even if your 1 minute late, she would turn you away. Save yourself the headache and frustration and go somewhere else to be treated like a real human. Hopefully my photos help the next poor soul but I would just go somewhere else.
The confirmation email I got from Identgo said, “An appointment is not required to be fingerprinted.” But when I called ahead I was told that they don't take walk-ins. When I went to my appointment, the women helping me was abrasive from the beginning. She told me to relax my hand to do the fingerprints. I did, but about a minute later she got genuinely mad at me for not relaxing my hand enough. I was a bit shocked by her behavior. Do you know how hard it is to relax your muscles when someone so unpleasant is holding your fingers? The whole thing was a bad experience. I'm giving it two starts because at least I got in and out of there quickly.
I had a very pleasant experience. I called ahead to make sure they had time for a walk-in appointment, and had everything i would need to quickly get fingerprinted ( money order, photo id and my tcn) This location does not allow phones out due to some kind of law or policy so please be mindful! I had a few questions and both ladies were pleasant and quickly answered them! It was super fast, efficient and they walked me through the whole thing for my first time getting finger printed. I think the negative reviews do not properly represent this location, please remember covid was a scary and challenging time for all of us!
