My daughter and I showed up to see someone named Cathy and it immediately felt like we got on her nerves, no explanation as to why she needed to talk with an associate about steps to move forward in the process and not even a call back. I would not recommend this place. I do not know why she did not want to see us and just made us feel unwanted. That is not ever counseling should be about, I see why some people do not want to get help because of experiences like this. Please do better.
I would not recommend using J&A. J&A does not have the best interest of your child. If they feel one parent is better than the other, despite evidence to contrary, they will collude against you, make appointment behind your back and have sessions with child and one parent but not the other. They will only contact the parent they feel is aligned with their agenda. There is absolutely no accountability. I recommend another counseling organization. You have been warned.
Sonya is absolutely amazing! She has been a huge factor in my 16yr old daughter’s mental health glow up! I cannot sing this woman’s praises enough!
My counselor is Macie. She is the BEST counselor I ever had. She is kind, compassionate, caring and treats her clients like family. I always feel heard, understood and she gives the best advice. 20/10 stars for counseling services 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
It's been a while since I've seen Rebecca. I actually looked up her name on Google tonight because I was referring her to someone and I wanted to give them her address and phone number...that is when I came across all these negative reviews and I felt compelled to write my own. I saw Rebecca after surviving a traumatic experience and she helped me immensely. She was never anything but professional, kind, and knowledgeable during our sessions. She has a very calm, compassionate demeanor that worked very well for me and I honestly wouldn't be where I am today had it not been for her help. I was in a very dark place and Rebecca helped me find my way out of it. I am eternally grateful to her.
