I've been to rbh a few times its always a good place and helps me alot

I was not a patient in here, but I can tell you that Dr. Uy is the most compassionate psychiatrist. I have found to care for my loved one. He really cares.

I was committed here because I had a psychotic break, and the staff mistreated me. They didn't feed me or give me much water. They put nicotine patches on me while I slept, and one of the old EMT guys actually violated me while I was strapped to the gurney. It's been four years, but I've gotten worse. The anti psychotics and antidepressants never fixed my thinking, they just made me more impulsive. Because of the trauma I faced from here and in my life before intake, I only act out aggressively and I believe NDOC is the next step for people like me who were failed. When you put people in a position of power, they'll take advantage of you. Like the staff here. The other patients were bad, but the staff made me feel like I could have died because of their actions. There were no cameras. This place needs to be shut down like West Hills. If you believe you may end up here one day, memorize the names of every staff member who violates your safety.

They took my sister here against her will and now has cut all contact from her to the outside world.

Was held here against my will as a minor the dr goyle lead psychistrist i think., Over a ten minute call with me and my mother. He used this call to threaten child protective services on my family. Under the pretense i was a "harm" to myself. When brought there i showed no psychotic symptoms and was forced to stay for 2 months. while the doctors activly threatened my mother with social workers. I had a brocken shower and the beds are the same as in the jail faciltys. After this medical kidnapping. They then attempted to send me to a permant asylum while threating my mother. We had to threaten a lawsuit for me to be finally withdrawn. Also i wouldnt recomend sending a child with a severe autism or is non verbal. Because when these kids start to act out they put them in a straight jacket and give them anal suppositorys when there violently screamimg and the entire unit hearing the crys its very very disturbing stay away from these kinds of people. i also contracted covid and was denied all medical care for it including evalution from a real medical doctor. And was coughing up blood to the point they had to change there policy. I was also wuthdrawun because of the lung damage from the covid-19. And have had since been cleaeing these false mental illnesses provided to me.

I am extremely upset with the way my brother was treated at Reno Behavioral Health when he went in seeking help. An older nurse was rude, dismissive, and disrespectful. His belongings were thrown onto the counter, and he was spoken to in a demeaning manner. This is a behavioral health facility—people come here vulnerable and seeking help, not to be treated like a burden. Everyone deserves basic human respect, and this behavior was unacceptable. After posting my original review, hospital management reached out promptly, took the situation seriously, and addressed the issue. I appreciate their responsiveness and follow-up.

Vary rude front desk people, she laughed in our faces when we just asked for help.

I see reviews saying that the person didn't get admitted. Trust me, it's a blessing. This facility is not going to help anyone.
