My daughter had a stuttering problem and it was affecting her confidence. I needed a specialist in speech that not only could help with the stuttering, but also bring back my outgoing confident daughter. Jessica was just that person. My daughter's speech was 100% perfect in just a years time. Jessica also helped my daughter feel confident once again by teaching her how to help herself and take control of her stuttering. I would recommend Jessica to anyone that needs help with any speech or language issues. My daughter looked forward to each session with Jessica as she made learning fun. She really went above and beyond to help my daughter and make her feel confident for each session.

Michelle Garcia is a gem! She is creative, natural, and appropriately flexible with kids, while also being highly professional, ethical, and goal-oriented. She came up with ingenious tasks and projects that harnessed our child’s unique interests, thereby making therapy more interesting and appealing to her. She intuitively knew how much to push, and when to stop pushing. Our seven year old worked with several, other speech therapists around town, but it was only when she started with Michelle that we began to notice clear, consistent, weekly progress. She improved more in her first three WEEKS with Michelle than she had in almost three YEARS with the other therapists (sounds crazy, but it's true). Now, after eighteen months with Michelle, our daughter has caught up and graduated from therapy. I only wish she’d had Michelle from the start!

Our 3 yr. old son has been working with Michelle Garcia at Rise for about 8 months, and he's just about finished with his therapy. When he started, he was significantly behind in his speech and language development. Despite his difficult special needs behavior, she has been infinitely patient with him and is expert at redirecting to keep him on task and learning. It has been such a relief and a joy to see him learn how to communicate such that people can really understand him. His interactions with both adults and children have been greatly enhanced, as have his social skills since he can now successfully converse with his peers. I can't say enough good about Michelle's work and the results our child has had!

Our 9 year old son has been seeing Michelle Garcia at Rise Therapy for the last 2 months and we are so pleased with his progress. It has been an exceptional experience for our son working with Michelle and we couldn't be happier. Michelle adapts her therapy style to our son's speech needs through multiple methods which achieve positive results for his daily speech. We hit the jackpot with Michelle Garcia. We could not have hoped for a more dedicated, talented and enthusiastic speech pathologist to work with our daughter, who has special needs.
