I have been a parent of a child receiving services from rising above for the last year and a half. The last few months the agency has been "restructuring". They communicated this schedule change with less than 2 weeks notice, no plan of warm hand off between BT's, reduced hours for my son unnecessarily and are burning out the employees. They have a new center in Norwell is empty but they are taking all of the good BT's and putting them there to make it more attractive at the cost of the current clients well being. My son started with elopement behavior and after notifying our BCBA it took her two weeks to get back to me. We went 6 weeks without seeing our BCBA because she went to accept another position within the company as a clinical director for the empty center. She abandoned my son and he regressed significantly. Now his new BCBA is great, she is his fifth BCBA in a year and a half. The actions of this agency border on medical neglect.
Our experience was very frustrating - lots of disorganization, communication breakdowns, low transparency, and lack of follow through. It took us months after onboarding to get the services started, but we cancelled once we realized this didn't seem like a professional operation. For something as important as ABA, we'll get back on another waiting list rather than work with a company we don't trust. Proceed with caution.
Great company, really care about the children.
This company is a joke. They started services in May 2024 and in August 2024 they put my kids on the waiting list again because in such a short time they changed BCBA 4 times and the last BCBA left the company. I waited years to start services and the wait time was longer than the service received. They don't give me hope or respond to me anymore.
This company (or, more specifically a woman named Christina) took all of my child's info, told me it would "be a few months" until they could schedule care, sent multiple form emails apologizing for delays and saying paperwork would be sent to me "by the end of the week" three weeks in a row, then fully ghosted me and stopped responding to emails. I'm not sure it's even a real company at this point - seems like a front/scam. Would love to see a review from someone who has actually received services from them.
