If I could give them 0 stars, I would. For starters, I called 9 times between the start and finish of call hours and not once was I able to speak to my YOUNG child. But the two times someone did pick up the phone, one said they’d call back and never did, while the other told me exactly where my child was without my giving the VIP#. They also did not scan a copy of my child’s DVO before she was taken back with them, so for the 8 hours she was there, she had no protection from her abuser. I called them, letting them know I was on my way to retrieve her, thinking it would give them time to get her and her things ready. Apparently not. When I finally got my child, she was physically dirty and crying. They told me she was asleep, so why was my baby sent to bed with dinner on her face and some mystery substance on her arm? Nobody gave her a shower, nobody helped her clean up, and she informed me that nobody gave her a toothbrush so she could brush her teeth after they refused to let me bring one to her. She also told me on two separate occasions she spilled food or drink on herself, and nobody helped her clean up, nor did they give her clean clothes until bedtime. Her bracelet was also so tight that it left a mark on her, there’s no reason for that. They had to play search and rescue with my child’s things after having to be REMINDED that I brought her things from home. To which I was told EVERYTHING was in the laundry room. So my child who has only ever slept over at one other place without me, was sent to bed without a phone call from mom or any of her stuff for comfort. When confronted, I was given a million excuses as to why all this happened. Something about so many kids, new hires, and old hires becoming lax. I don’t care, you didn’t take care of my child properly. I asked for a complaint form, to which I never received. All in all, if you love and care about your child, do NOT send them here.

I went there a couple weeks ago and it was one of the most traumatizing experiences of my life. The staff are very rude and they don’t treat you like you humans I got yelled at and takes about by the staff all because I wanted water. They also just let the younger kids act up and don’t do nothing about it I got a full open carton of milk throw on me by a little kid and all they did was ask me to help clean it up. I was so miserable there and I wouldn’t wish being there on anyone.

Horrible place made my mental health much much worse

I went when I was thirteen and don’t think I’ve ever been more traumatized by a place that was supposed to “help.” A staff member released information to my teacher, who was her sister as well, and they talked on speaker phone. My whole school knew what had happened. I witnessed children literally have their fingers broken, their hair pulled, kids being restrained for not even doing anything. It’s atrocious, and honestly, I hope this place gets shut down and everyone working there gets charged for child abuse. The only workers that were nice were the night shift workers.

Disrespectful workers

This place has no licensed therapists, psychiatrists, or psychologists on site. They have nurse practitioners who follow the guidance, allegedly, of a psychiatrist. Honestly, don't know how they can label themselves a mental hospital for children without medical professionals that are trained in the field. Children only get 2 five minute phone calls a day. It's essentially a daycare for troubled youth but the goodies are antidepressants. Ew.

This place is not helping my grandson!!! If one has an outburst are they to release them or keep them!!! I thought they are supposed to keep them and help them, not RVBH they released him and he's getting worse. So much for the best mental help in our area!!!
