Do not send your child here!!!! They need cps involved in these abuse cases , the staff watches a kid get beat up, the staff harms your kid, not protecting anyone!!!!

I haven't been here in years, as a teenager I was very depressed and a lost child. I was sent here. It didn't help whatsoever, was just drugged up and a guinea pig basically for whatever the doctor thought would help, it didn't. I became an addicted to illegal drugs (heroin and cocaine) to numb what I was experiencing. (I am sober as of July 9th 2023) Thanks to Nova in Oshkosh - place wasn't top tier but WAY better than this place. Doesn't matter if your insurance stops paying, you're gone regardless of if you're ready. And they wash their hands of you basically and get you out quick. Next patient to take your spot. I'm posting this because all I see is the same experiences from people who were there or knew people there. With as many of us who have experienced the same things - it can't be a random thing.

If I could leave no stars I would. If you want your kid overprescribed - send them here. They don't return calls, don't answer the phone on units & will put people on medication that needs to be taken every day & then discharge without even a take home dose. This place should be ashamed of itself.

Do not do the Adult FOCUS residential here! They have a doctor (Dr. Singh) who does not listen to anything patients say; and who makes multiple medication changes without the knowledge or consent of patients. Also therapists (particularly Lauren) ignore and dismiss some patients; and are totally ineffective. Worse, when you try to get into a different residential as a result of these issues, the "treatment team" issues a recommendation blocking it instead of acknowledging where they may have failed the individual patient.

I have been here three times. Each time was almost worse than the last. I was in the children’s unit and they constantly just threw us around. One time a kid had destroyed the common area and tried to kill me while that was happening two kids were having panic attacks and i had to help them both while almost having one myself . The staff didn’t let me go to bed till 2 in the morning. Tried to wake me up at 6 still. They said if I didn’t my daily activities I would be stuck in my room the rest of the time I was there. Another time they gave kids there night meds early and a girl passed out and got and got a concussion. Nurses have even told me to kill myself. You guys don’t care about patients well being just the money otherwise every other person I know wouldn’t have a bad experience.

Every member of staff was empathetic and caring, I highly recommend going here if you need mental health support. The psychiatrist listened to me and my concerns. Beds were comfy enough, food was alright. The groups were the best ones I’ve come across in inpatient facilities. Very nice outdoors area, and good therapy groups like art was very helpful.
