Yesterday was a serious miss on Rutgers’ part. I drove a long distance with the expectation that I’d be matched with someone who actually has experience working with autistic adult men — the population your program publicly claims to specialize in. Instead, I was paired with a clinician whose background and focus clearly did not align with my situation or needs. This wasn’t a small mismatch. It was a complete failure of intake, communication, and basic suitability. And it cost me time, money, and trust. I need this corrected immediately. By “corrected,” I mean: I am matched with a clinician who has a track record working with autistic men, Scheduling is handled first thing, and Someone takes responsibility for how this happened. If this can’t be resolved promptly and professionally, I will escalate this through every appropriate internal and external channel above this program. I am not interested in tearing anyone down — but I will ensure accountability if I’m pushed into that position. I expect a clear plan and a corrected match by the morning. Thank you Jim
