I have a 5 year old and 6 year old with autism. We have been going to the center since the 6 year old was 2. These people are the best of the best!

This company is a total scam. They’ll take your insurance money for sure.

Person who returned my call didn't seem very knowledgeable on services offered and also told me they don't accept BCBS although the website says they do.

A family member met the owner, Mark, and noticed he was wearing a shirt with the center named and mentioned my son who has autism. They got to talking and Mark said that my son seemed like a good fit for their program. My family member told him about how I want to be very involved in the therapy and I would like to be present and Mark said that they do that, that parents present was preferred. So my family member got his card and I called many times, took months and my family member calling and name dropping the owner to get called back. I scheduled the tour then confirmed with the woman I spoke with that I could be present for the therapy. She said “no, parents aren’t allowed in the building. You will drop him off in the parking lot.” My son isn’t even 2 yet. But I went anyway so I could meet with Mark himself and talk to him about it. He told me I could be present sometimes but not others and that sometimes they could come to our home as well. Basically just telling me whatever I wanted to hear. I left the center feeling great about it and thinking I could be present with my son and get him comfortable before I start just dropping him off since my son has never been away from me and is very clingy. I was told I’d get a call that next Monday. Then on Monday he saw my family member again. He told her that my son isn’t the “problem” and that I am because I’m unwilling to drop him off and distance between my house and the center is too much after telling me that distance wouldn’t be an issue. He never even met my son. And also, in the time I left my son with my mom for the tour, a couple hours at most, he stood at the door crying for me and calling my name. If the center is only for drop off, that’s fine if that’s how it works but he could have just been honest with me and I wouldn’t have even needed a tour because I could have told him then that it wouldn’t work for us while my son is so young. I would have been open to it in the future when I worked my son up to being able to be away from me for longer periods of time. But I am no longer interested in using their center since Mark seems to have an issue with honesty, I’m not sure how I could trust him with my child. Also, after the tour, I never even got a call back like I was supposed to. And when I mentioned it to my son’s current therapist and asked what info she had on Sadowsky’s, I was told that the lack of call backs is an issue that she’s seen multiple times.

Can’t say enough about this company. My daughter’s life and our entire family’s life was changed for the better after learning tools, strategies, and skills while working one on one in a real life setting...your home, with sadowsky autism services. Before sadowsky we had broken doors, destroyed rooms, days with no sleep bc of dealing with “melt downs”. We no longer see those extreme melt downs and it’s been a long time since something in our home was broken intentionally. What I like the most is that this company genuinely cares about their families. They listen to them, and observe them before they even begin working, just as a teacher does review and assesses where a student is at before jumping into the new lesson material. They work with each individual on an individual basis and not with a blanket, one size fits all approach. They support the family unit and their goals and standards and teach the entire family how to work with whatever child is receiving services. Now that we have relocated, I have spent over a year trying to find a company like sadowsky but to no avail. 😢
