I have now had my second appointment here. I find my therapist friendly and relatable. Concerned and compassionate. The reception staff is super friendly and kind. Also, fun to chat with while making appointments.

I went to LifeWorks in Ankeny for therapy and really liked it while my original therapist was there. Unfortunately, after she left, I was told I’d receive a call to get scheduled with someone new....but that call never came. After nearly three months of waiting, I decided to follow up myself. The person I spoke with was kind, but I was told the only in-person providers available in Ankeny were male, even though my previous therapist had said I’d be set up with a female provider which was my personal preference. It was disappointing that no one followed up or seemed to look into who I was supposed to see. Ultimately, I have decided to go elsewhere. LifeWorks was a nice place while I was there, but between the multiple provider changes and the lack of follow-through, I’m leaving on a neutral note... not upset, just a bit disappointed things ended this way.

Rachel is awesome! I’ve only had two appointments and she is by far the best counselor i’ve had
