Sandstone Therapy

I recently saw Melannie. She helped me by using an EDMR technique that reduces nervous system responses to certain triggers. She was patient and kind. The technique was surprisingly effective. I would recommend her if you are struggling with this issue.

I started out on this journey to find help for my daughter. Being turned away everywhere. We had finally gotten help from Gina Bemis at Ron Wood counseling when they suddenly closed their doors. Gina sent us to Sandstone Therapy where we have met the most amazing people. They have listened to my concerns. Treated my kids so well every session they have been to see Laurren. They have worked with our ABA in sessions to help my daughter. Working with Sandstone Therapy has really helped all of my children have a safe place to be themselves.

I have the utmost respect for Sandstone Therapy and the work they do. Their deep expertise, compassionate approach, and commitment to creating a valuable local mental health resource is remarkable. They create a safe and supportive space where individuals, couples and families can truly explore, heal, and grow. Sandstone Therapy is staffed by professionals who want to make mental health care accessible and effective. I would not recommend Melannie White. Biased commentary based on a lack of understanding that stems from a failure to read the client intake forms you are required to fill out (I spent 2 hours typing a story) is unacceptable. Excusable the first time, accidents happen. Inexcusable on the second visit once made aware on the first visit. No attempts to reach out for clarification in the week between visit one and visit two.
