I remember going here, I was 10 years old, the staff were so kind and chill. Definitely recommend going here.
Dr. Hess is amazing! She listened to our issues and has given so much great advice on tackling behavior at home. I leave our appointments feeling like a better parent! Thank you for providing a safe space for us and our son! Highly recommend!
Savannah Behavioral Pediatrics is an amazing team of specialists providing fantastic care for children and their families in our community!
I came here as an 18-year-old seeking a learning disability diagnosis. My high school had said that they could do testing in 2.5 hours, but my mother knew from previous experience with my older siblings that it wasn't enough time for accurate results, so we opted for independent testing. We don't have health insurance, so the out-of-pocket cost was nearly $3,000, but well worth it! I had a full 5-6 hours of testing with Dr. Hembree, who was very kind and accomodating; in the end, she put together a 15-page report of my results and took the time to make sure we went through it all thoroughly so that I completely understand what it means and how to use it. I had to schedule my testing almost a month in advance and then got my results 3 weeks after the testing, so the process takes time, but gives thorough answers. Also, their office, is awesome! The back rooms are a bit of a maze, but the whole place is beautifully decorated and cozy. Shout out to Ms. Evans for answering and forwarding all my emails when needed! Thank y'all so much!
The receptionist in the staff were extremely nice so I was happy about that. But they don’t take a lot of insurances we even paid ahead upfront but they spent an hour asking me questions and not really my daughter just to conclude that for some reason they don’t think they are the best fit for her and referred us out to another counselor he was not nearly as polite as they were and told me I had an appointment in late November to call back and find out they never made one at all and I mysteriously don’t see children. I am finding that behavioral health for children is discouraging in Savannah.
The most comprehensive testing as well as behavior/psych therapy we've found! Amazing place! I have two children who have been under the care of Dr. Duke for years. We have been elsewhere, and there is just no comparison. She is professional and takes confidentiality very seriously, which is important to me. She is so great with both of my boys, who have very different needs, and it is obvious she truly enjoys her work with children. I'd give her ten stars if I could! #autism #behaviors #adhd #gifted #latetalker #iep #psychtesting #iq #adaptive #therapy
