Our son just had his evaluation and he had a blast ! He’s very excited about going back . Everyone was so nice and did a awesome job of explaining things 😊

You cannot find better if you live in CR, Marion, Iowa City, Coralville, North Liberty, etc. I am deeply involved in my son’s therapies and education and had gone to 3 other OT-SLP clinics before Sensory Kids. Our son who is a BIG TIME sensory seeker who needs a lot of input and movement, and he has never actually WANTED to go to therapy until we started here. Getting him to participate in any therapy before here has been extremely challenging. He gets too bored in a simple room. If your kid is like him, DEFINITELY take them here. ———this place is great for kids with all different sensory processing styles, but I want to make a point that there are no other clinics that have a sensory gym besides this one here. The amount of speech our son uses here is 20x the amount he does in a simple room because there is SO MUCH TO TALK ABOUT! More importantly, Kendra is a TOP TIER SLP who is very experienced with NLA -for all my gestalt-language processors out there—as well as AAC and how to adapt it for GLP kids.

Through my child's time with Sensory Kids Iowa, she has developed skills in all of her target areas, including handwriting, emotional control and coping skills to handle her need for sensory input. I feel incredibly grateful for the work done by these skilled professionals!

They are great! Everyone is kind and they charge what they say. The services have also been great so far (my kid does OT, feeding, and speech therapy there).

Really enjoyed working with Natalie! She did a great job working with our son to be a proficient talker and they did it one on one in such a fun way!

I highly recommend this service for thoughtful, play-centered therapy which serves children and their families so well. I can’t say enough how much my child has benefited from the kind, personalized service from therapists here who listen to parents well, and who modify plans to suit each individual child. Such a valuable resource for our family!

We love our Ava!! Our son has been doing speech therapy with her for six months now and he has improved immensely. You can tell he is much more confident in his speech, he is meeting goals and more than anything he has so much fun. Everyone there is so wonderful and caring, we attend twice a week and I have nothing but great things to say!

My two girls love coming to Sensory Kids. Teresa makes therapy fun while working on exactly what my kids need. She genuinely cares about the kids she works with and communicates with the family throughout the process so we can support her work at home. We feel very lucky to have found such a unique facility and exceptional OT.

The therapists at Sensory Kids are wonderful! They treat my children with respect and are so kind hearted. When we walk in they all make us feel welcomed. My kids are so excited to go to Sensory Kids and "play" they do not realize that there is more that they are learning and orders they are following. The gym helps the kids get some energy burnt out of them. There is a sitting room to do more focus work. Very organized and equipped with anything you may need. I have recommended Sensory Kids of Iowa Therapy to friends and family.

Our son’s experience at Sensory Kids has only been positive! We drive 80 miles each way- twice a week and every trip is worth it. Teresa, Natalie, Niki and everyone else has been great to deal with! Goals are set, evaluations completed and our lives are forever changed by the experience we’ve had with the therapists at Sensory Kids. The knowledge of the latest and greatest in the areas of OT and Speech is evident and I never have to question that my son is getting the best therapy!
