Sensory Therapy Place

We truly cannot say enough good things about Sensory Therapy Place! Our son has been coming here for a while now after being exposed to drugs at birth, and the progress he has made has been nothing short of incredible. The growth we’ve seen in him emotionally, physically, and developmentally has brought us so much hope. The atmosphere is so calming the moment you walk in. It doesn’t feel clinical or overwhelming. It feels safe. The knowledge this team has is impeccable. They truly understand what they’re doing and, more importantly, they understand our child. Our son is not always the easiest to work with, but they meet him with so much grace, patience, and genuine understanding. They never make us feel judged or discouraged, only supported. We recently started our daughter here as well, and she absolutely loves it so far. That alone speaks volumes. We are so grateful for this place and the people who pour into our children every single week!

Sensory Therapy Place has been a huge saving grace for our daughter. Each therapist we have encountered has taken their time, learning, bonding and building a relationship with her, so she (and us) feel safe, secure and confident. The progress and growth she's making is incredible to see. The atmosphere in the office is friendly, warm, and inviting. I've never felt so comfortable in a medical based office. I would HIGHLY recommend STP to anyone who is looking for OT services. We thank Mr. Earl and all the staff for all their hard work and all they do to provide for our daughter.

I brought my child there yesterday for her initial appointment and I was so impressed by the atmosphere in the office. My child was fully cooperative because they felt truly accepted for who they are and welcomed. They are excited to go back next week which speaks volumes to me! The approach is so gentle and I felt fully relaxed with having Corey work with my child! Thank you for this!!

EDITED TO ADD: We have now been going to sensory therapy place for almost 9 months. I wanted to share a VISUAL representation of how much my daughter has changed since starting OT here. The left is before STP and the right is currently. She has filled out because she’s able to digest food and absorb nutrients as well as calm her body down so she’s not always bouncing off the walls. Eye bags are mostly gone due to better sleep. Her skin is visibly more plump and glowy! I could go on and on and on! My daughter is an 8 year old with no speaking autism/apraxia. We have been going to Sensory Therapy Place once a week for 5 months now. I say we because I feel they teach the parents as much as they work on the kiddos! We have experience with all the therapists but we have settled in now with Cori and we love her to pieces. Every single person is extremely kind, knowledgeable and passionate about their work. My daughter has grown leaps and bounds since starting OT here. I highly recommend you give it a shot if you’re on the fence! You won’t regret it!

My toddler daughter had Miss Elsie for over a year, working on building muscle tone and helping her hypermobility issues. We loved her! She is amazing!!

Sensory Therapy has been amazing for my children, it is teaching them techniques to use on their own to slow down and relax and helps with anxiety and stress. My oldest child has been able to get off medications as a result of it.
