brought my father here for therapy to fix him and when i picked him up he was still broken
When you call the front desk they’ll be extremely rude and the therapists aren’t much better either they yell at you or berate you for not getting better right away, trauma or depression doesn’t go away overnight but university of phoenix students wouldn’t know that would they. Total jokes.
This place is the best experience I've ever had in dealing with my mental health. I've been a nurse since 2000, and never had much faith in therapy. This place changed my mind completely. Ivanne draughon, and her entire staff in pahrump, especially Jennifer, are top notch.
At first all was good. However, my counselor quit. No one called or said anything. The counselor told me via text. THEN when I called to make dr appt (need my meds) I was told it is required to be actively seeing a counselor to see the doctor, but there is a counseling wait list, so I have to wait..No meds for a bipolar person. Researching new facilities, but to no avail because I am cash pay.
This place is unbelievable. I was given an appointment with a psychologist who was supposed to call me and I waited in vain for three hours. When I called at 5pm to find out what's going on I was told that my appointment was moved from the 14th to the 16th between 2 and 5 pm. No one called me to reschedule and the 16th was a repeat of the 14th. No calls. I still do not know what is going on and when I called on the 16th just before 5 pm someone is supposed to investigate and call me back. Today is Tuesday and I have not heard from that place. I am moving and I have never had to deal with such unprofessional and no one who needs any kind of help should be treated like that.
I NEVER saw a Dr. 2as charged 170$ or visit. Had to take a urine test w ea visit..which was ABSOLUTELY no problem... BUT.. after 4 visits I get a SEPERATE BILL FOR URINALYSIS AT $100. Per test!!!!!!!!!! Wth was the $$$$$ I paid for. Three hour waits.. No Dr.. If you aren't suicidal when you get there, you will be!!!!!
Big place and service is very good and very nice people
The staff at Serenity Behavioral are wonderful; from the front office staff to the therapists and doctors. They have stuff for children to do and watch, even will give something to drink and a snack. They even will help with calling Logisticare for a ride, if you need the help.
