This place doesn't care at all I was stupid enough to trust them
My child has been receiving services for years. She has had several caseworkers throughout the years. She has had only had 1 person that was completely unprofessional. Each caseworker before that and since then, has been truly professional kind and compassionate. They have given us many resources and information that has completely improved my child's quality of life and enjoyment. I cannot thank them enough. I highly recommend them.
Who is funding SAM? Why isn’t there any financial transparency?
Omika is a competent, friendly and helpful blended case manager who is there to support me. She is very easy to contact, and responds in a timely manner. Same with Molly, who is a IDD supports coordinator, is also amazing! I was referred for blended case management by my therapist 3 years ago although in 2019, I was ineligible for either service due to my diagnoses at the time, but things have changed 2 years later. They work with my other healthcare providers, including therapists, and also communicate with my family when needed. Highly recommend working with them and SAM’s services.
A close family member has received services from SAM for almost 5 years now, in two different Pennsylvania counties on either side of the state. As the family member's caregiver, I have interacted directly with SAM staff on her behalf many times. In all cases, every single service manager and supervisor has been nothing but professional, courteous, and very helpful. They are extremely accessible, always return phone calls and emails promptly, and go above and beyond to give/find out information and offer resource ideas. I cannot say enough good things about this agency, and we are so grateful for their help and support over the years. Highly, highly recommend!
We use the Berks County SAMs for my daughters mental health needs. They got her a caseworker quickly after a hospitalization. Isaiah Mares is great! He was a brand new caseworker when we got him. He has always been kind and considerate of both me and my daughter. He stays in contact and works hard to get the services she needs. He was persistent to assist us and stay in contact with the facility she needed to be in for several weeks which helped alot . I see alot of negative reviews on here but maybe depends what County. Berks is the Best! Thank you SAMs!
